abstrack....
To be honest you shouldn’t say nothing than.
Is this educational forum or??
THIS IS WHAT i TALKING ABOUT.
New hope for the prevention of recurrent atrial fibrillation.
Elevated C-reactive protein (CRP) levels are associated with numerous cardiovascular diseases, and have been shown to predict future cardiac events.1 Bruins and colleagues were the first to report an association between CRP elevation and the occurrence of atrial fibrillation (AF), in their case in the context of AF following cardiac surgery.2 They demonstrated that CRP levels peaked on the second post-operative day, and that increased levels of complement-CRP complexes peaked on the second or third post-operative day. The incidence of post-operative atrial arrhythmias similarly peaks at these times. AF following cardiac surgery affects 20–50% of all patients (depending on age and type of surgery), and CRP levels in this setting can increase more than 100-fold

Hi im a doctor, i have worked in cardiology for a while too. Let me try and give my opinion about the question raised. Firstly the quoted article has nothing to do with anabolic steroids , it refers to glucocorticoids whice are absolutely not anabolic steroids . In medcine mostly when we talk about steroids it refers to glucocorticoids which are probably most frequently used in asthma and other inflamatory/rhumatoid conditions (eg for arthrites/SLE etc).
The study if u read it aussie actualy seems to condone glucocorticoids because of their crp lowering effect and seems to suggest that it might reduce AF.
No doubt you googled "steroid " and "atrial fib" and came up with this, i have met alot of people into gym and to them the word steroid unequivocally means anabolics/testosterone , so hopefully i can clear it up for those new to AAS that sexsteroids are completely different from glucocorticoids (eg prednisone, budeflam etc), otherwise wed see alot of buffed asthma kids !
To my knowledge I have never seen a convincing study or PROOF that AAS cause MI/AF, the only cardiovascular effect proved i would say is their temporary change in your lipid profile / ratio, ie lowering the good cholesterol, in that sense you are, for the time using juice, a bit predisposed. But honestly you know that a process like atherosclerorsis takes like 20 years or longer to develop into symptomatic obstruction of heart vessels - hopefully noone here will be juicin that long continously lol !
Hope This Helps
Dr Wayne

how the hell is this guys' rep still in the green?
Ultimately, coming onto a forum of internet peoples and asking a serious question regarding your health takes stupidity to a whole new level.
honestly, when I see questions like this, I want to say "no man, it doesn't harm you nor atrial fib. In fact, you should take cocaine and heroin, as I hear they assist the he****g process. In fact, take them together. With some cyanide"
see....stupidity will always find a way. If I had my druthers, I'd take the warning labels off everything and simply let nature take its course. Y'know, survival of the fittest, weeding out the weak/stupid/worthless, etc.
