I guess that means you know EVERYTHING huh??? Damn dude, I am not even hatin' anymore, I truly hope you learn some new things and maybe try to incorporate partial DL's into your routine some day. I feel it coudl greatly contribute to the development of that back of yours.

And one more thing bud, I am not tryin to be dick here, but sometime we have a distorted self image of ourselves ( i do many times until I look back on old photos) and we may not realize the level of development we are already at. Don't get me wrong, you look good and all, but the original starter of this thread has you SMOKED and ther is knwo way you are catching up to his development in one year's time. It woudl be cool if you did, and mroe power to ya, but it jsut aint gonna happen man. And btw, you may eventually have that kind of development at 25 or 30, but I doubt you can hold it to 45 yrs old.

one thing I noticed is your ego is bigger though..

Bro I like reading your posts because you do have knowledge but I honestly think you are pushing this one too far.. just walk away.. no one is going to win.

im sure arms arent THAT much bigger .. maybe an inch or 2 .

i'll give him credit for the shoulders .. but i've always had narrow shoulders to begin with ,

if i showed u a pic from a year and a half ago you would be like " why is this 145 pound weakling tryin to do a lat spread " . i gained 50 pounds naturally .. and did one 2 cycles wich i lost everything from getin poisoned .. thow im still at 200 pounds and im 19 years old for 30 years of training like this guy claims to be doin he should be lookin amazing . but like i said when reality kicks in , for all the work he's put in he could be better .

    I'd say 2.25 inches J/K

Dude you look good for 19.. hell you look for for 35 if that was the case.. Each of us are built differently.. I am a runt compared to many and huge to others.. To each his own. I think we all learn from each other and fighting seems pointless. I would trade my body for either one of you guys.

I wouldn't be fighting , as i said in my previous post .. all i said was pictures of hoisting weights doesnt mean yur actually doing the full set or a full rep to begin with a video might be better . and he went off on me .. so ? i dont have the right to defend myself ? tell me if im wrong .

I don't think he attacked you but even at that bro be cool.. no worries.. you really don't have to defend youself I don't think.. Know what I do when someone does something to me I train harder and get bigger.

I have been mocked and griped at many times here and finally figured out that fighting back does not solve it..

anyway bro keep working hard you are getting where you want to be.

Like I stated in the first post, I do racks because deads off of the floor hurt my lower back. The way Im built, I cant lift off of the ground without rounding my back. Im nooooooo power lifter. But Im still happy with this lift.
    You should be sir!

I feel it is a great exercise. When I do them, I leave the gym with my back feeling the same way it woudl as if I jsut did floor DL's. I get all the benefits from rack deads I feel like, that I would get from floor DL's. Of course, the legs wouldn't be incorporated as much, but my whole reason for doing deads is to hit the back anywyas, not legs. I have a seperate day for them anyways. I think people jsut jump to conclusions b/c they just lookat the exercise and think liek ohh I could do that, it's on the rack half way up the shin GO ahead ant try it. The weight is still heavy!

I used to do floor DL's and loved them, until one time I took a week off, came back into the gym and did my first working set (light weight still) with 405 and was using perfect form. It tweaked the sh1t out of my lower back right where it connects to the hip, and Icouldn't bend over for days much less squat, or DL for 2 months!! And even after that I had to ease back in slowly!! Ever since then I say f*ck floor deads, it jsut puts too much unnecessary strain on the lower lumbar region. I get all the same benefits that I am shooting for with rack deads. Every now and then I will do a set or two of deads from the floor, but never with anythign heavier than I can do for 8-10 reps. My deads fromthe floor have gone up consistently as well with jsut the incorporation of rack deads. "DOn't knock it till you try it."

P.S. TO the thread starter- Great lift bro!! Thats some nice weight, you look thick as hell too man. Keep truckin
    Ditto...

I've used rack deads to push my dead max up... I'm pulling 495 for 2 reps from the floor now.

Rack deads are an awesome tool!

It helps them get used to heavy weight and work more on the top portion on their lift to bring up their floor deadlift even more. You are an idiot for making this kind of statement, it just makes you sound ignorant. It's not like the guy is in the middle of a powerlifting meet and does the lift only half way. Shit, he is simply using the exercise for HYPERTROPHY (building the intended muscle in the best way possible given the circumstances, such as a hurt lower back) I would like to see you doing this kind of weight at his age.

I posted this because I thought it was a cool pic. Most of the pics I take aren't worth posting. The guys that some how think that this is a worthless excersize should most definitely try it, at their maximum weight. Its the "heavy" weight that makes it work. I don't even start to feel it deep down until I reach 495.

It's not for legs so much as for the back. It makes it thick!

Sorry for the quality of this pic.
Sir.. you are an impressively built individual.

Ignore those who claim to be more knowledgeable... stronger... better built.

You're in your 40s: 1. built like a phucking house.. 2. strong as an ox.. 3. you've a working insight into your body (as you were natural for the majority of your training-life) ...and 4. growing.

Most guys here can't one out of those four conditions i noted achieved.

Keep on doing what you're doing sir.

Bro, I dont know what your problem is, but if I am reading this quote right and you say you have had 2 cycles at that young of an age, you lose all credibility in my opinion. Just by admitting to that, you show your lack of education, and why you dont know how great rackdeads are for putting on mass and helping to strengthen yourself on other excersises such as squats and deads. How the hell did you get certified?

To the original poster: You look great bro. Thats is an impressive lift, and keep up the good work.

    Congratulations on the new record!
You´re thick too, so thumbs up to you sir

Why do I get the impression that some people here are trying to brag about their own body when they should be either complementing others or trying to help them get in better shape? This isnt a competition.

Wow, that is impressive. I do rack deadlifts from time to time, and I have to say that I am very impressed. I hope to work up and be able to do weight like that some day. But until then, I'll keep working hard! Congrats, and I hope you keep working hard and making progress!

Can't wait to see the video, I'll be contacting you to see when you will present this to the board and will do so after you ride out your suspension for being an immature dickhead.

After you are allowed back, stay out of this gentleman's thread if you have nothing positive to say. You are all negative and that is not what this thread/board is about.

You sound like a pompous kid who has nothing legit to brag about in reality!

You quoted Swolecat's last statement, and then stated that you didnt need any of this and that AR wasnt the only bodybuilding site you can go to. Then you proceded to flip off() the board. The other boards must not be to great, if you decided to edit your post and make your way back over here. I hate to be a snitch, but you were such an asshole earlier, I had to. Oh snap! Powerlifters and bodybuilders sure are wasting their time using those worthless cheater rack pulls as part of their training protocols! Stupid cheaters!!!

675 is a great rack pull. I love throwin rack pulls into my routine whenever I can. They are great for improving you 1rm and making you strong as hell for the top half of the movement. Keep lifting heavy!!

    FYI:

Omni is history as soon as I get other things here dealt with, there are a lot of things going on these days on A.R. and I have to tend to all of them.

They are more important than some kid mouthing off, so you all have fun with him until he no longer exists. All he can do is post, and that's not worth anything.....

    Until then....

Thanks again guys for all of the positive comments. I just wanted to post a picture I thought was cool. I know Im not the strongest guy around, but to me, all those plates look awesome!

One thing that people like Omni need to realize is that this forum is really for motivation. There are men and women in all stages of fitness that post here looking for encouragement, critique or just maybe to show off a little. If your a member you shouldn't be pissing on the posters parade.
