    6'1 255 17.5% bodyfat looking for advice

i'm posting pics to try to give a good idea of my body shape and size. Just a little background i've been training for 6 years now i'm about to be 22. I've always taken a powerlifting approach to things and am trying to make a transition. I've never used any gear because i wanted to reach maximum growth and be of age. my training is pretty sound and i use a 4 week periodization method right now alternating between strength focus and size focus. I've been thinking of trying gear, but didn't know if i had a solid enough base. Lowering bodyfat % before hand is a must obviously.if i'm ready what would be a good first cycle that can maximize fatloss as well as make strengh and lean body mass gains. Any advice is welcomed and appreciated. (sorry the pics aren't better )

For sure look like a strong dude. Id say your strong points look like your shoulders, and chest, arms and back need catch up. But like you had mentioned you had taken a different approach with a power lifting for strength shaped body. I'd say your BF is pry a bit higher then 17.5%, where'd you get that tested? I'll let the cycle experts chim in on a recommended cycle, but I'd say Its gonna be hard to focus on strength and getting cut up at the same time.

I'm sorry to say, but your BF is a lot higher than 17.5%. My guess would be closer to 23%.
I would focus on changing my training and diet to accomplish the goals you have set.

3000 cals having to cut is a bit too much IMO

i'm actually been doing an hour of cardio 5 days a week for about 3 weeks. I use interval training and keep my heart rate high. I eat way below 3000 cals. For some reason i can't eat very much without gaining a lot of weight. I'm scheduled to go get t3 levels checked in the upcoming weeks. I actually had some clen , but did not affect me. No rise in temp, no heart rate increase, and no results. so i quit taking it after a week or so. i'm just going to eat as cleanly as i can and still lift like a beast. i'm just going to increase volume dramatically. around 225 is my goal, unfortunately to get there might cost a little muscle.

Yes I agree, your not ready for AAS yet, you need to get your diet cleaned up and training figured out.
