16 weeks out
ok i start cutting on monday.. so i had a guy at the gym take some pics. And it would have to be on leg day so i couldnt get much flexing there.
stats:
5'7"
219 lbs
13-15% bf ( just a rough guess)
Hoping to throw a few pics up every 2 weeks or so to keep a progress update
and it was a bad hair day

Ya 16 weeks out from comp. ands its a natural comp.
It was leg day and i didnt feel like bending over or bending my legs to take the sweats off hehe

ok 14 weeks out now... 2 weeks of cutting and i feel great heres some more pics. Still getting my back posing down... kinda tough, i need another mirror, seems like I have the leg placing down and my calves... just gotta figure out how far back to bend and not to roll my shoulders

What kind of diet are you following? How is your training/cardio program?

For the first 4 weeks my diet on training days is
2961 cals, 348 prot, 207 carbs, 85 fat
and off days i go 2021 cals, 278 prot, 90 carb, 55 fat
training split is
mon-chest/tri
tues- back/bi
wed- shoulder
thur- legs
fri- arms
cardio on training days on empty stomach (5g glut) for 45-1hr at low intens... between 130-150 BPM

so you work out 5 days in a row than take two days off? why don't you try and split it up a little more, especially the cardio. I just don't see the benefits in taking the whole weekend off. But thats just me, good luck man!

Good news, getting leaner. Bad news, you are correct, the back lat spread isnt looking good. It looks like your hands are too far forward and you seem to be rounding your back instead of flaring it outwards.

Ill throw in a cardio only day on sunday also to keep the fire burning... but my cals on that day are the same as a "off day"
No ive done 3 previous comps and in 2 ive placed overall.
Did a couple measurements today
arms are at 19 inches even
quads are 28.5
calves 17 (trying to get them up to 18 atleast)
and fireguy i think i can help it out by pressing my shoulders back into the pose... seems like im hunching over into it, I do have a buddy moving back into my area next month and hes done some personal training routines and posing and he said hell give me a hand

nice job man. much props. your legs look awesome. good luck at comp. My chest is very similar in build too yours. I work so hard but that bird just doesnt want to fly like i want her too.

Coming down nicely....now for my one posing critique. Your elbows look too high on your front double bi, making your nice wide back look narrow. Try dropping them some and see how you like that look. Back lat spread looks much better.

You do realize he has over 12 weeks to go right?
That makes no sense at all mate.
If you toss in a 6th day of activity at 12+ weeks out... what will you manipulate later when you stagnate?
The most I would've done would've to add a small amount of pwo cardio... rather than another cardio day.
Overall, not a bad look.
The poses need work.
Looks like you don't pose regularly...and, when you do, you do it in a mirror.
I'd suggest that you add a posing session at the end of your work-outs at this point. Posing while you have a pump will help you to make better contact with your musculature.
This'll translate into better muscle recruitment on the long-term, where posing is concerned.
Additionally, your posture needs work... I think this is my primary problem with your posing.

i think your doing a good job on cutting. Be careful not to cut to fast. Overall you conditioning looks great. Work on your back pose. Legs look good.

update:
the guy taking the pics.... is SLACKING!! lol
had someone take a pic at the gym for me... this was last monday.
As of today im 27 days out and weighing 188 lbs.
