Caliper question?

How hard should you pinch the skin fold? I know some areas are harder then others. Just want the most accurate way of doing this. I'm sure if you crank down, you can drop it a few mm, lol. Just dont want to cheat my self.

i know the post, but doesnt say the amount of pressure you should exert on the calipers when you pinch the skin with them. Thats what i'm curious about. I am looking into getting a decent set of calipers.

You dont exerpt any pressure one the calipers, they are spring loaded.
