Great fvcking job man. You went from a average dude to jacked. I bet friends point fingers at the gear all the time lol. Thats a dramatic change. With out hard work and dedication it wouldnt have happen. props bro.

I HATE YOU I HATE YOU I HATE YOU!!!
Seriously, great job, you've obviously worked your ass off. Gear only goes so far, you can shoot shit all day and if the workout and diet aren't in check, it'll do no good, so let people point to gear - you know the work you've put in.
You obviously have some great genetics, because VERY few people can make that kind of progress in 2 years (like another poster said above), let alone 6 months.

I know in those pics it looks like I was always just an "average dude", but when I was 18-22, I had the exact same build, just 35 pounds lighter, and even a LITTLE more defined (veins in abs etc). I always had the same proportion and symmetry that you see there. The problem occurred when I decided to go on an all out i.e. all you can eat dirty bulk for a couple years. I shot up from around 155lbs to 218lbs in that first before pic. BAD idea, as you can tell, I gained a TON of body fat. I did however gain a good amount of size and strength, but not really worth for all that fat. You're right though, it is kinda shitty that people just like to point at the gear, but as anyone educated and or experienced on the subject knows gear will do zip for you without diet and training dialed in first. Thanks for the kind words.

Thank you for the huge compliments, and yes, I have had several people on here accuse me of lying about the time line given, but the facts they ATTEMPTED to use to support their arguments were less than credible, and I think I did a good job of pointing that out. gbrice, you must be one of the most dedicated guys on here man, I still pay attention to the things you have to say, so to here a compliment like that from you means a lot.

Thank you for the compliments as well bro, I really appreciate it.
I'm starting a new routine/program that can be run for as little as 4 months or as long as a year... i'm really hoping it'll do big things and help break me into new territory and the next level. I need to make leaps and bounds with changing my body, much like you did. I'm an old man, lol, so it'll take me quite a bit longer to get there - but I am seriously dedicating myself to this one!
Again, great job - keep up whatever you're doing!

Thanks a lot man, my delt/trap routine is as follows:
I do delts AFTER chest, and it consists of 3 sets of side laterals X 8-12 reps, then reverse pec dec for 3 sets of 8-12 reps, then I finish off with 3 sets of dumbell presses for 3 sets of 8-12 reps. I know a lot of people think this isn't very much work for the delts, or that I shouldn't do them on the same day following chest, but that is EXACTLY why I feel they have made such a dramatic improvement. I personally feel A LOT of people over train their shoulders. For traps I only do 4-6 sets of smith machine shrugs pyramiding from 4-6 reps first set, 6-8 reps second set, 8-10 reps third set, 10-12 reps fourth set, and then if I do the last 2 sets, I stay in the 8-12 rep range. I do however attribute a lot of my trap development to heavy rack pulls and deads.
