Big Fatty
Spent well over a year getting out of shape, time to fix the mess!
I moved away from the guys I used to feel competitive with, so I need you guys to hold me accountable if I slip up.
Here's a link to a cycle thread I did almost two years ago http://forums.steroid.com/showthread...cle&highlight=
Its been downhill since then. After the cycle I was eating like a moose to make sure I kept all the gains. Held onto my strength and muscle (I think, hard to tell with all the fat) from the cycle.
Anyway, current stats:
Height: 5'10
Weight: 230 (235 in pics)
Age: 23
Training:
I'll be weight training Monday Wednesday Friday; a mix of HIT and Superslow that I've found really effective for me.
Cardio will be 6 days a week with Saturdays off, generally 30-45 minutes. I wear a heart monitor during cardio, I try and keep myself around 150-160 but it doesn't take much for me to hit 180-190 since I've neglected cardio for so long.
Diet:
My options are very limited due to my modest income ($0). I'm basically working with what I have already in bulk. Please no "hit the diet section", moneys got a little more power than food right now.
Here's a list of what foods/amounts I can work with:
Oatmeal (plenty)
White rice (plenty)
Cashews (ration about .25c a day)
Cottage cheese (1c a day)
Whole Milk (1c/day)
Chicken breast (1 breast/day)
Celery (half bunch)
Bananas (1/day)
Whey protein (plenty)
Supps:
Basic multivitamin (2/day)
Vitamin C (2g/day)
Fish oil (2g/day)
EC (.5 dose/day for now)
Creatine,BCAA (5g,5g during workout)
The two pics are from a couple weeks ago, I dropped 5lbs since then but just from starting cardio not dieting, still look the same. I'll post pictures every Sunday or Monday, update general stuff every few days.
Keep me honest fellas!

Good luck with the diet.
You should still talk to some of nutrition guys they can probably get you going on a tight tight budget

i know your on a budget but drop the white rice and only eat brown, post your entire diet and macros in the nutrition section , nobodys going to harass you and say spend more money. everyone is helpful and just offers good advice . whats the phobia with the diet section?

Thanks for the input guys.
No phobia at all, I've spent the vast majority of my time on the forum in the diet section. Mid May I should be able to afford a better variety of foods and at that point I'll definitely hit up the nutrition section. Right now I'm just playing a calorie game and making sure I don't drop too low. By the time I've got a little more financial leeway I should hopefully be at a lower BF and need to fine tune the diet a lot more.

What is your planned daily calorie intake and macro split?

Thanks fellas, I appreciate the encouragement.
No blood work yet, I moved to a new area and haven't found a doctor yet. I'm hoping to get it done when I find someone. I've had times when I've questioned my levels being off, but I think feeling shitty was probably from a shitty diet.
BMR - 2247.92
TDEE - 3484.28
Looking to drop around 2 lbs a week, which means I need a 1000/day calorie deficit.
2484/day Average macros are gonna be about 50% carb, 30% protein, 20% fat

Hey fellas, last night and all day today I've had a horrible feeling in my legs like I need to move them but it doesnt go away. I've tried stretching, walking around, massaging my legs and nothing helps. Has anyone experienced this when getting back into dieting and cardio?

Decided I'm going to post pictures every two weeks, can't really tell much week to week. Down to 227 and feeling pretty good, find myself looking forward to cardio already. I did cheat and have ham dinner last night for Easter, making up for it all week with some extra cardio.
Going to be changing up my diet a bit and moving ECA to 2x/day, I'll post the new diet later once I've got it all figured.
