[QUOTE=marcus300;6704234]A great goal at this stage Cape would be to try and maintain your gains after this cycle ends, this is were it gets tricky but from your new way your training and diet I am sure you will do great. When does the cycle end?[/

I never look at maintaining my gains as a goal. I see it as an absolute. I feel a goal is something that can be met or not met. If I go in knowing there's no other option I find I have better results.

I'm about 6 weeks in on this run. So a little less than half way.

This is great advice! !! So many guys say I weigh this or lift that or show pics of when they are on but that's not them. What happens when somebody wants to see you when you're off our go ahead lift that now ? I don't consider my cycle weights or even show pics when I'm on, it's what you hold when your off. Very few realize that you break your platueas when your on and then your goal is to train naturally until you get back to where you were when on cycle. This is where dedication really comes into play. Keep your diet, keep your training when your off, it's easy when your on. If your do this, then go back on 6 our seven months after being natural and dedicated you will really make progress with your physique. And keep it !! To many guys relying on gear. (Not taking a shot at OP just adding too Marcus' s thoughts)

Thanks Marcus. As you know it's a work in progress.
Thank you for actually working the "wheels" when so many skip leg day or heavy squats and deads hahah. You have insane vascularity in your legs and calves, I'm more than impressed! Age is but a number and will only take it's toll on you when you allow it to. Keep busting ass day in day out and it'll be but a distant memory. Congrats on the inspiring transformation.

I can do that but I would like to tell you what a friend reminded me of today.

The cycles I have run shouldn't matter because cycles are designed and worked off each persons stats and experience. The most gains i have ever made was in the later stages which is when I was training right, eating right and cycling correctly. No one should follow my last cycles because they are advanced for someone who has been cycling for a long time. No one should copy any advance cycle, you need to use cycles designed for you and experience.

My first cycle was a mess. I had no information. I just did what a friend told me to do. It started off simple enough. Test E twice a week at 500 mg total. I didn't know what an AI was. Nor HCG at that point. I didn't know a damn thing about diet and training was of an average person. I did put on size. At that point anything bigger was better and I was hooked.

So dbol was suggested and I bought it happily and took it. I got bloated but strong so I was ok. Still eating shit. A while latter deca was suggested. Sure. More size but not what it should have been for the length I had been taking things.

Then it was suggested I try a show. Sure. So I wound up on test tren a mast winny clen t3 and a diuretic. I did very well in the show. But all this had taken a great toll on me mentally and physically. Finally I was coming off and doing a PCT.

Pct. Wow. Novla and clomid and hcg. Hcg was 5000 ius every 3 days for 15 days. It took over 6 months after pct to get back to almost normal. The biggest thing was my sperm. It was deformed. Made them slow and very few of them. This to finally was back to normal. After specialist and a lot of blood and doctors appointments. I was lucky.

I took over about 15 month off. I lost just about every little bit I had gained. So I started running hgh. This was back when it was real and easy to come by. Diet still sucked so I basically wasted a lot of money and time.

Then I found this site I didn't join for years. I didn't want to because I had done everything so wrong before. But I read and listened and learned.

I ran another test only cycle with a proper pct. Still no ai or pct. Diet was better but not great. Workouts were evolving for the better. Didn't keep anything.

A test and deca cycle. With an ai and hcg. Faster recovery. More gains kept. Diet much better.

A proper test tren a cycle. Two times with proper time and pct. More gains kept.

For the Most improved comp I ran test var tren a and mast.

I'm currently on a high test high deca cycle.

It took me years to realize diet is what makes or break so cycle. And a diet makes or breaks your gains. The importance of an AI is extremely important. And hcg for recovery. I still may pay for my ignorance later in life. That's the thing a mistake can haunt you years down the road. Simple and safe is the best cycle.

I love that you showed such a long progression of time in the 1st post and stress the importance of knowledge, proper application of it, and DIET. Diet is the single most important factor by far in what we do. I learned that the hard way too. I wish there was some way to get young people to understand and apply that. They would not go through 5y of mediocre gains.

    Looking monstrous cape. Keep going.

So you say, but in your second picture you are cut up in a way that the majority of participants here will never attain. You had to have SOME idea of diet to get like that.

You're an inspiration, cape! Nice to see one of us 40somethings take it to the next level. I was jealous of your delts until I saw your quads. total beast mode.

you're right about the lifestyle. just de-constructed my first burger at a business lunch to cut unwanted carbs.

    Keep up the great work.

Wow! That is definitely a high dose of Deca . Considering the half life of Deca, it will still be in your system until the year 2017. (just kidding). On a more serious note, given your age, do you still PCT? You posted that "gram and a half" post back in October. Are you still "on" a gram and a half of each or are you finished? If you are not cruising or TRT, how is recovery?

How long did you take breaks on the more recent cycles?

Deca is terrible recovery for me, and, as much as I liked being on it, I decided I should probably wait until I am on TRT to use it again (although I may still try NPP).
