    Appreciate it. After legs last night, I did a little abs and surprisingly looked pretty good with some blood in those muscles. I added 4 mm to each of my skin fold readings to see what the difference would be from my 10.7% reading. I figured there is no possible way the readings could be off more than that, checked each place at least three times, some as much as six, but usually the reading came back dead on every time. So with adding 4 mm to each spot it comes out to 14.4% body fat. I know skin folds isn't the best way to measure, but I am pretty confident I am in the low teens, but like I've said before the number doesn't matter if you are after a certain look. Although I might never get rid of that lower belly section of fat that is annoying, at least I feel fairly confident about my level of leanness.

    Ok, I believe I am ready for some tren . Thinking a really low dose eod, and run some test prop eod with it, or just split my test c into eod with it. I just can't decide how I want to handle my diet.

    I'm needing to continue with the fat loss, as much as I would like to be a huge monster I'm just kind of wanting to stay lean and just look good. Thin skin, nice looking body, muscular without it looking too overboard. I want to also get some of my strength back. I'm thinking cardio will be limited to High intensity short duration variety, hill sprints, HIIT, circuits, some strongman stuff. Weight training will be focused on powerlifting, the heavy stuff, low reps, neural efficiency etc, a bit of rep work to help maintain muscle mass.

    I've dropped weight fast to a structure I am fairly comfortable with, but can't decide If I want to shift to slow and steady progress type pace, that isn't just focused on losing weight, or if I should just focus on getting extremely lean and shredded. Can't decide if I want to go super low calories and next to no carbs, or consume carbs in the afternoon and evenings at a higher calorie allotment.

    I have the most success If I have a fairly specific and structured plan and timeline. Just can't decide how I want to put my protocol together. Anyone have any thoughts?

    I always do better taking on calories earlier in the day . I know people react different I use tried and true method that worked for you in the past.jmo

    I haven't tried taking on large amounts of calories earlier in the day in a long time. I don't like going to sleep starving is one of the main reasons. I'm kind of debating even having a nice even "clean" and reasonably low supply of calories throughout the day. But still torn on this. I've been skipping breakfast for a while now. Basically eating twice a day. This week I have trained after the second meal, then added a protein shake and snack after training before bed.

    It seems like in order for me to make noticeable weight loss progress I really have to stick with it. Have to keep re-feeds under control etc. Wish it was easier. But then if I add extra compounds weight loss tends to stagnate as I build muscle. I really want to save that for a later time, but it would be nice to have just enough calories to have good training sessions and not be extremely weak. But that might take me out of being able to lose body fat.

    I would like to take my first pin tonight, but not sure I should start on it without having a plan worked out. I mean I could start pinning, and then just wing it as far as diet goes, unstructured, but always trying to keep myself in a deficit, and adapt as needed for the results I need. Just don't know if I want to do something extremely severe as far as calorie restriction goes.

    Ok so I dunno, I am taking in slightly above trt dose of test, and then 175 mg of tren a per week total. I have been sticking to a plan that allows me me to get some heavy training sessions in, my cardio has been of the high intensity variety, otherwise I do some other longer duration activities and sports on occasion.

    But what I don't know about is the weight gain. My diet hasn't been thoroughly laid out, but all the food I have ate has been of the "healthy" variety except for on occasions. Quantity wise mostly fairly low, and have kept myself hungry the majority of the time. I did start eating breakfast again, greek yogurt and a few strawberries usually. I figure I can't trust my appetite after such severe restriction for so long. I can see my chest filling back out, and overall I look better, and my waist feels smaller in my pants. Granted this wasn't my scale I used so I probably shouldn't pay attention to it.

    Thinking I should get down to 185 lbs. I look good, I have had a few nice training sessions. But I have debated bumping up dose and dropping cals a little more. For now staying on current dose and just keeping from over eating, and hopefully get to a point I am in a slight deficit. Yesterday I did indulge a little and I chose not to train so I could get some rest. I think that in part is why I need a rigid structure program, so there isn't really any room for questioning it. But at the same time I need to set myself up for something I can maintain and keep moving forward with my training, might not be the best time to do it with substances.

    I just gain weight easily. I have to remind myself I was heavily depleted when I weighed 191, and it wasn't a true body weight. Pretty normal for me to gain huge amounts of weight after dieting, but I want it to just be getting replenished and not excess fat. Last summer it was 18 lbs in 2 weeks gained after I went to something that wasn't so strict but was still structured, I even had body fat tested though and everything was good, no indication of large amounts of fat gain.

    Side note, tren a and test p hurt for days. I don't like prop at all, I want to get rid of it, but can't see myself wasting it. Trying to save any heavy blasting for when I am extremely lean, I am just not to that point yet.

    Well I did another skin fold test. 10.2% which is a little lower than last time but up to 202 lbs. And that is with using the higher end of readings. That is also with pinching all the glandular tissue that is hard on my chest, if you try to get the skin without it it is less than half as thick, but I didn't use the smaller number. I don't know how to get rid of it, makes me wonder if I am leaner than I think, but have this like breast tissue type stuff that makes me look bad, abdomen is similar in parts below the belly button, hard and weird feeling.

    Either way if you use those numbers I have lost some fat while putting on a lot of muscle, but I think it is more likely I just replenished glycogen stores that brought me back to the higher weight, it is just good seeing smaller skin fold readings still. I continually look better, and I have managed to get slightly stronger recently as I have chained my training back to having a focus on strength, less on hypertrophy or holding muscle mass. Cardio has been only high intensity, no boring rides on the treadmill. No plans like I was thinking to make another dramatic cut soon, but will continue to try and restrict calories and drive fat loss.

    Thanks you two, trying to stay lean and get leaner is a huge chore. Started creatine up a week ago and boom here's ten more lbs. just have to tell myself I'm taking advantage to the performance enhancements from it and that it is temporary.

    Lost some weight since starting creatine, muscles are a bit flat. Originally I wasn't too worried about muscle loss, but now it's starting to concern me a bit. I feel like my fat loss is slower than it should be, but maybe I'm not putting enough work in.

    Planning my next cycle now. Want some muscle and strength back but don't want to bulk, nor let my bf climb much.
    Considering running nolva to help with glandular tissue at my left nipple upper chest and abdomen.

    Bodyfat tests done yesterday. I'm back down to where I was. 13.1% and 10.5%. Pretty similar to last time I tested over a year ago, but I was 14 lbs heavier then. To be honest I feel and look leaner now, so I think I am closer to the 10%. I'm more depleted right now, prior I did the tests two weeks after ending my cut. Currently I have max two weeks left of this cut, then I'm just going to cruise for a bit. I want to run a bulk cycle, but I much prefer how I look being leaner. My squat and deadlift strength is great, bench is still lagging, don't make much progress when calories are low. Wanting to prep for something in April ish. Would really like to dominate a big PL meet and qualify for worlds again. Will see how things go. Going to maintain at my current weight of 200 lbs for roughly 8 weeks. Then I might prime, or cut, or do a slight bulk really unsure. I really feel like to do a proper prep I need to be around 8% so I can eat. Either that or it will be somewhat of a recomp with slightly more calories so I can get stronger. It's a tough one, but I look good now and don't want to screw it up.

    edit: also contemplated other competitions, could fit strongman in easily if timing is right. But debated doing a classic physique competition, it would be way out of my comfort zone, but I have various reasons I am interested in doing it, if I can pull off that kind of conditioning.

    DD I had it tested with Bod Pod and Skin folds.
    I have a pic that is like four weeks old, but I should probably take some new ones soon, that was right around when I added daily LISS again and started tamoxifen .

    Lifts are doing ok, In my last meet I deadlifted 600, could bench 400 easily, but ended up with a bit less, squatted 500 without even feeling it at all. Right now I think I could match the deadlift, My bench is about 50 lbs lower, and squat, I believe I could surpass 500 without much trouble. That's at 200 lbs now, and was 30 lbs heavier last meet.

    I'm not sure what I want to shoot for, stay at 198 lb class and would want to hit 550-600 squat, 400+ bench, 650 DL. Not sure if I could do it without gaining much weight. The other thing is I want to stay low teens in bf or work on going lower. I had contemplated eating as needed for progress going into the meet, would be able to get stronger, but don't want to sacrifice my work dieting, want to seriously stay lean. I could be a comfortable 210 and still cut water to 198 I think.

    I was thinking of starting blast in December. Test, EQ, Deca , and then short bouts of dbol .

    So I am now at the end of my cut officially. Intend to eat healthy, keep a bit of cardio for a while. But main goal is maintain where I am at composition wise, and build some strength, basically have 10 weeks to cruise till I can start meet prep and my cycle. It's a little longer than I wanted to cruise for, but I should be able to make the most out of it.

    Dropping back to trt dose, as well as dropping thyroid medication back to script levels, which isn't far off where I was at. Will need to bump up calories slightly still I think, but will get blood tests done if I feel like muscle is wasting away.

    So I think the highlight of this whole cut was last night. I finally did my first real pistol squat without assistance. I have been doing them with a band for years and have tried without in the past but was far from it. And I didn't just do one, I did 3 sets of 5 fairly well. I had a note in my journal from last time to try something different, so I dropped down to the smallest band I had, and it felt so good I just took the band off. I was shocked, but really happy.

    I think I will continue to run creatine through the next 10 weeks, and maybe at start of cycle, but will drop it out either before or during to bring my body weight down slightly. To be honest I would love to be a shredded 185, but it doesn't exactly fit with my compound choices, nor my choice to do a powerlifting meet. So as long as I can keep improving my body composition, and not letting bf creep up much, I will end up sacrificing some muscle and strength gains, but that will just have to come at a slower rate.

    Hey brothers. I had to take a bit of a hiatus from the boards. Was curious if people were still around on here? I definitely miss these days. I come back to this post now to look at old pics and I appreciate all the comments in this thread that helped support me in my endeavors, and I miss all the conversations and camaraderie.
    Quick update.
    I competed in powerlifting one more time after my last post in this thread in 2016, set my best total ever.
    I haven't run a real cycle since then, even though that one was just two compounds, test and an experiment with boldenone , which I'll never do again.
    Hope everyone that's still around is healthy and doing well. I'm off trt for a month now and starting back up with a lower dose soon. Almost been ten years since being in my best shape ever. Maybe in 2024 I can be a leaner healthy older version of that 2014 me.
