Hello and hope everyone is well
This site is absolutely great. It really demystifies many fallacies for me. I am 45, have been training for 20 years (a few long breaks in between), 5'11", 200 lbs and in good shape. However, never reached the potential I would have liked to have. Probably due to not really putting all the pieces together at the same time (nutrition, proper training and not overtraining, too much cardio, supplements, etc.). At 45, I am more determined than ever to push myself to the fullest extent -- as a personal goal -- to see where my mind and body can take me. Have had many trainers at various gyms who I needed to help guide me to maximize myself, but most fell short. This time I joined a no nonsense gym (none of the hi-tech machines, great members who all support one another as role models, all free weights) and found an awesome trainer who I admire immensely. With the help of this web site and other reading, I also started HGH a couple of weeks ago (Serostim, 3mg/day, 2 days on 1 day off). This was a personal choice after talking with a sports medicine doctor. So I will see where this takes me. Sorry for the long post and just want to say thanks to all of you who contribute to this site as it is a valuable resource on topics that people will just not discuss...in an honest and frank forum.
