How The F*#@ Are We All
Hi all I've totally forgotten to introduce myself here. I've too busy researching and exploring the site to stop and show some manners. Already I've made a buddy, offered advice where I can and been rudely criticized by some prick by the name of hugovsilva. That aside, hello to all and hope to make positive acquaintances and give and receive positive feedback.
Regards
gruvi

"water off a duck's back" don't let critics and flamers be final impression, sometimes those same critics will give you great advice later. Some folks are just critics by nature. I'm new too, great to meet ya gruvi.

Welcome.
hugovsilva is guilty of the same thing myself and others are guilty of, when people come here and ask questions which indicate they have not done enough research we typically tell them they have not done enough research. Some people thank us for the advise, as it is in their best interest that the advise is given. Other people get an attitude and tell us how they have done plenty of research, although their questions indicate that they have not done enough.Last edited by Big; 10-21-2007 at 01:04 PM.

You will always get a coarse reply on forums like this... it's a internet hero type thing [as if they didn't ask questions], ignore it!
Only so much can be read online, regardless of if the forums may have a post from 3 years ago [from some guy i dont know] i personally feel it's better to ask than to be unsure, and it's good to have a few people say the same thing sometimes gives you reassurances.
Some of the guys like gear give constructive feedback, the vast majority are good guys :-) [blame the raised testosterone levels for the bad replys]

This is actually one of it's biggest advantages, there is more freedom of speech here, than there is on some other forums.

Welcome! This is the first time I have been on a forum and its been great so far. It CAN be frustrating though when the keyboard warriors attack....its such a helpless feeling
