    New Member - Hockey Anyone?

    Hey Fellas,

New to the site, and am finding a ton of knowledgeable members on here.

Couple things about me : I play a lot of hockey so muscle is good, but a few times Ive bulked and gone up to 250+ I'm like Bambi on ice. So my goals are to get stronger but have to stay around 230 during the season. Now that its the offseason I'm bulking and will begin cutting in august.

    Stats :

    28
    6'5
    235
    bench : 315 ( I know
    dead : 385
    squat : 420

Just wanted to say hey, and good luck to all with their goals

Welcome to the board! I also play hockey and the difference I noticed in my performance while on certain compounds is incredible and I definitely agree with your goals, I have ballooned up to the 250-260 range and it's just not ideal for being a fast footed sniper. I felt useless at that weight lol. I like to stay in the 225-235lb range for the season to maximize speed and agility and still have all the power I need.

Hey Thanks! Yeah I hear ya. I Play D, so a few extra pounds are nice when you're battling guys infront of the net, but I went on a cycle (test e, dbol ) last year during the season and gained about 20 lbs in 4 weeks and I loved the results of the strength/muscle, but I couldn't believe how slow I felt.

I play football...am a running back and feel the same way... I love getting huge and strong in the off season, but during the season need to be fast... a good way to be light and still be as strong as an ox is do major lifts like squat, deadlift, and power clean with heavy weight... I deadlift 615, squat 550, and power clean 345 at 225 lbs... my upper body is weak, I can bench 315 a few times but I love the squat, deadlift and powerclean...at the start of the season i was 243 and now Im 225... lost a lot of upperbody strength but lower body strenght is almost the same...
