As you all (probably) know, Israel is at war. You see reports of missiles hitting Haifa, and air strikes of Israeli Air Force in Beirut, etc. But what you don't see or hear in your media is how the sentance "All of Israel are brothers" becomes a reality at wartime.
We (Israelis) are known for our ability to constantly disagree with one anther. Last summer we were torn apart because of the disengagement. But now Nasralla has managed to do what no Israel leader did for a very long time (if ever). He brought us all together. Here are a few examples of today's Israelis:

1. One of the TV stations constantly show phone numbers of people in the center and south of Israel who are offering to house families from the north - free of charge.

2. Municipalities are orgnizing housing arrangements for families from the north.

3. A millionair has rented a holiday resort for families from the north to stay at.

4. Children from the north are taken to youth centers in different places and given summer activities.

5. Businesses donate to help people from the north. For example Tnuva is giving them free milk.

6. There's a hotline where people/businesses can donate to help out business in the north who have to stay closed nowdays and are in danger of going out of business.

And on a slightly different topic. Israel took out a missile launching post today, and as a result one of the missiles was launched, exploded and fell down. It was an Iranian missile with a range that could reach the center of Israel (Tel Aviv). So far the Hizballa hasn't used it and I hope it stays smart enough not to use it. If they do, this will be a direct link of Iran to this war, and I hate to think of what the results could be.
