What were Israel's goals?

Get its soldiers back?

Failed. Dont have a clue where they are.

Destroy the rockets?

Failed.

Last two days have seen the most Hizbollah rockets coming from Lebanon into Israel, EVER, after more than 3 weeks.

Turn the Lebanese people against Hizbollah?

Failed, they are more popular then they ever were.

Stop the "terror" from rockets?

Failed, today saw the most deads from rocket attacks by Hizbollah ever.

Hold Hizbollah, strong holds?

Failed, they go in, take it for a day or two, and then retreat because they cant wait there like sitting ducks, and get killed.

So far what has been accomplished?

NOTHING. Just call this operation Grapes of Wrath part 2.

Oh...you mean the women and children whose homes the rockets are stored in and fired from....?? At least I might have a grudging respect for the Hez fighters. They are fighting for a cause they believe in, however misguided, at least they have the courage of their convictions to lay it all on the line.....unlike some...or most....who only mouth talk a tough game from the safety of their home which is thousands of miles from any battle zone. (hint, hint)

People like that make me sick. They are soft, weak, and have a large streak of coward running down their back. Of course I'm not saying anyone in this thread fits that description

i do give them credit for standing up for themselves...
