a MUSLIM man can marry a woman from the people of the book (i.e christians or jews) but a believing woman is better

Not ignoring you at all. Your numbers, and scenario are mute because you added the Palestinians from the west bank and Gaza into the equation. They are not citizens, they dont want to be, and nor does Israel want them to be. If you remove 2,460,492 West Bank palis, and 1,428,757 Gaza palis the equation changes, but Im not sure that would fit into your argument very well.
As to the rest of your post, I think you should take the word of someone who has lived among Israeli arabs, and not the word of those who only seek to discredit Israel. I can assure you they have every right and freedom as any Israeli.
Is there discrimination? sure, but no more than blacks in the US , and certainly less then Christians in a Muslim country. Humanity has its ugly side, but dont confuse this with the reality on the ground.

They don't want to be citizens of 'Israel' but they certainly don't want this system of being confined to those impoverished areas..when the entire country was called Palestine it was no Jewish State or Muslim State..and people could go where ever they wanted..Israel came along and it became this harsh segregation..they need to figure out a system where it's 1 system again, lets face it the proposed Palestinian state sucks, they will wind up being confined to about 10-14% (they are going to get maybe 50% of the WB which is 22% of the country)of a country which is already small and they won't have any real independence,they will simply be contained and will basically be second or third class citizens.. Bush/the Americans have already said that taking down these huge settlements is 'unrealistic' so Israel is not going to do so, they will retain large chunks of the WB and they currently have 400,000 people on the other side of the green line I have seen maps of this propsed Palestinians state and it's an obvious aphrtied scheme. and ofcource the Gaza area is disconected from the WB area, and the WB area is subdivided .. there will still be Israeli checkpoints everywhere and Palistinians will have no access to Jerusalem, the will be contained on the otherside of the wall and your still gonna have that whole segregationist mess all around Jerusalem..this is no "state", it's a state of ethnic represion

What had happened in 1948 is the UN/UK/US/others had told the Arabs they wanted to create a Jewish state, the Arabs said no because they said the Jews could just have minority seats in the Palestine Parliment, since before the P expultion the recent immigrant jews were about 25% of the population..I mean when jews immigrate to the US and when Italians immigrate to the US they don't create their own state they just live there.

so is it ok to just give the Palestinians citizenship and then have an election in a country called Israel-Palestine..that way the Ps can get out of these segregated areas and be represented by about half the parliament..that way they can just persue their grievences through political representation?
