Scientists: Gore Goes Too Far in 'An Inconvenient Truth'

Fox news
now that is an oxymoron

I wonder what the Geological Society of America has to say about this . . .

Some of these supposedly "scientific" organizations are nothing more than fronts for business or religious special interest groups. I've never heard of these people before, maybe they're on the up-and-up, maybe they're a bunch of cranks.
I'll wait and see . . .

Jason865 tried the classic liberal ruse: Discredit the source and don't even acknowledge the article or refute any of its points.
We're onto you!

What Gore has done from what I hear is to show the absolute worst case scenarios. But since they also happen to be the most unlikely scenarions its a bit dishonest. Unless he states that its low probability in the movie. I havent seen it myself.

It's not a liberal ruse....both sides do the same, and Faux specially aims daily at discrediting everyone...there is nothing liberal about it at all, except for that they liberally do it all day long on both sides...

There's no such thing as mainstream liberal news.

Why don't you go play outside, and let the grown-ups talk?

Gore and his inconvenient truth, was nothing more than a desperate attempt to get back in the public eye, by abusing his position along with scare tactics. All wrapped up and dressed up to look like scientific imperical knowledge.
I saw the movie, I gave it a fair chance, I give it as much realistic credibility as the film "the day after tomorrow"Last edited by singern; 03-15-2007 at 08:52 AM.

Of course "global warming" should be a concern, but I think Gore is "inconveniently" pushing the truth too far.
JMHO,

^^ Jason865, if you can't post anything productive in this forum then don't post at all.
