Iran already has the world looking down on them for their nuclear ambitions...now this?!
They must want someone to attack them. If they execute some Brit soldiers, you can bet there will be hell to pay.

Again, I've posted about the misconception of Islam before, and I hope you guys don't mind if I do it again. These people do NOT represent the rest of Muslims. They are, in fact, certifiably nuts. I don't blame you guys for thinking all Muslims are nutbags, I really don't. But, it's not true. And, Iran, of all nations, is not well liked by their Arab neighbors, with the exception of a certain group in Lebanon.
This IS political. Iran has always hated the West, and will continue to do so. However, they also realize that there is a group of nuts that do think that killing in the name of Allah (which is simply the Arabic word for God-- the same God as all Abrahamic religions believe in) will get them into heaven. They want these people on their sides, b/c they're figuratively human weapons. If it breaks, who gives a crap? And, we know this about Iran, b/c it's not new. Since 1979, they have been in the public eye as a nation that despises the U.S. and Israel, more so now due to the fact that there is pressure on them to defuse their nuclear program, but no pressure on Israel's nuclear program.
Anyway, they won't kill the Brits. They won't bomb Israel. Obviously, I'm no expert, but I just can't see them taking any of these actions. If they did, then it will definitely be an act of war, and it will not be tolerated for a second.

And so it comes down to religion once more. Very hard to fight an enemy like that, who believe they are in the right, have God on their side and death is the mere final prize for such servitude.
Mad dogs that need to be put down.

My fault, I brought the religion up again. I'll try to control myself, I just thought you guys would be interested in seeing that these idiots are not the majority---not in the least. I guess I just brought it up again.....but only to explain myself.

the capture of 15 British soldiers was not an act of war. it's just an issue with disputed water border. If blair is confident that they were not in Iranian waters, provide the world with GPS information or satellite pictures of the location of their location. it might also be a tit for tat for when the US captured Iranian diplomats or revolutionary guards member a few weeks ago.

Well lets see.......the Brits have provided the EXACT gps location of its people at the time of kidnapping and piracy and they were over 1 mile outside Iranian territorial waters. There is no dispute about international law when it comes to Maritime borders and law and Iran broke that, invaded Iraqi space, attacked and kidnapped members of a soverign nations military. Pretty much cut and dried. Second, regarding the Iranian "diplomats" and revolutionary guard...they are in Iraq illegally...period. We should be treating them as enemy combatants and eliminate them.
I just pray (can I say that here?), the Iranian people rise up and take their country back before the nutbags leaders finally tweek the Wests nose one too many times.

Me not being the hostage’s family or even country man, it's easy for me to say this,
But I wonder how it would be seen for Briton to tell Iran you've got so many days to release our men, or we will start bombing every man made object in your country, until it resembles the desert that it was built on.
Yes we know you will kill our solders but they are solders, who will become martyrs.

^^ Yes, I think it is Britain that should be giving the ultimatum here, not Iran...
Iran says Britain must admit wrong-doing for release of their soldiers.
I think Britain should be saying, release them, or else.
JMHO,

I like 'em slami... God sometimes comes with a 2000-pound pay load! Release them Brits and back off with the frickin' nukes... nobody trusts your crazy agendas - not even your own people. Americans and the Brits got the stomach to keep fighting - and you're only helping us cultivate more allies...
