Obama: '10,000 People Died' in Kansas
RICHMOND, Va. — Barack Obama, caught up in the fervor of a campaign speech Tuesday, drastically overstated the Kansas tornadoes death toll, saying 10,000 had died.
The death toll was 12.

I can't wait for the first person in this forum to come back to this quote in the near future, sighting it as fact.

I don't know how he let this one happen. It didn't slip out of his mouth. He elaborated by saying that the entire town was demolished. What the heck?

Funny that you don't see that on any of the news networks. You think if it was a republican canidate that it would be headline news everywhere?

Does it mean that you cant say anything about Republicans or Libertarians because your not one?

No, he can make any comment he wants. I was saying that there hasn't been any democrat or anyone else on this forum or elsewhere who stated "look at Fox News...". I comment on Republican comments after they have been made. I don't assume what anyone would say, I comment on what has already been said.

Stop trying to spin again, Logan!!! I don't have a problem with you speaking about any demographic in response to what has been said or done, but you have a habit of stating broad generalities about certain demographics even if they haven't said or done anything. Your speculations and assumptions cast you in a less than gleaming light.

100% wrong brutha. If a Republican made this kind of misstep every news outlet would be running it as their top story. Even buddies of mine that are Democrats can admit to Democrat media bias. Its not rocket science.
I like ya bgmc but I think your ignoring the truth to fit your agenda.

We are going to have to agree to disagree. Because like you, I know of republicans who admit that this happens with every presidency. I'm not denying that most media outlets are left leaning these days, but that is because, IMO, this adminstration has had major missteps which increases the fodder for these reports. But I don't believe that media outlets don't point out democratic flubs like you republicans tend to vehemently believe. Again, we should reserve judgement for the next administration when we have a democratically controlled congress and a democratic president. I guarantee we will begin to see the media point out there transgressions as well.
