I think as long as Biden just lets Palin talk, and doesnt try to rewrite history by saying something dumb like FDR got on television in 1929 then he'll win. Palin is probably going to say something really stupid and it will be all over the news and youtube within minutes, while Biden will probly say something just as dumb and it will be completely over looked by the media.

I give credit to Palin. She did pretty good in dodging questions.
Before every-time she spoke it was, "Well, I want to talk about this..."

Palin did good period, I'm not her biggest fan and give her a lot of credit. Biden has been in Washinton forever, he should have eaten her alive. He got her a few times, and really went after her in the beginning. She stayed cool and came across a lot more likeable than him. Everytime she got him he flashed that big greezy politicians smile. When he got passionate or frutrated it showed in his forehead. She missed some names and specific facts more so than him, but overall I felt better about her. Although I wouldn't say there was a clear winner.

I couldnt say who won or lost because I am so biased towards Biden. I hate that guy, I hated him before he was Obama's running mate. I hate anyone who leads with anger and personal bias instead of intelligence and reason.
The only good thing that could come out of Biden being Obama's VP when he gets elected is that he will be out of the senate and be put in a no nothing position.

the way they both presented themselves and came across and the way people look and judge things i think palin did more to help mccain ticket than biden did for obama

Everyone is talking about how well Palin did. That's only 'cause we all expected her to fall flat on her face. She totally dodged questions and came across as rehearsed rather than intelligent. Biden is bog slime personified (with eerily bright porcelain veneers) and both he and Religious Zealot Barbie can get bent.

LOOK I know most of you guys are young. but, every time the camera showed a back shot of Sara all I could think was man look at those calves they are soo hot nice shape. I am 41 so maybe the rest of you guys did not notice the old lady. I thought both candidates did very well and it was likely the best vp debate I have seen. They both were able to articulate the views held by their tickets and both spoke well. And I liked the calf shoots.

The slight possibility that she can instantly be the head of state of the most powerful and influential state in the world is worrisome.

She did better than I had expected but I can't stand listening to the woman talk, she can't say nuclear. She still looked like am imbecile, between the obvious reading of her talking points, and her awesome dodging of the questions. I ask anyone here to tell me if she ever actually answered the question whether same sex couples deserve the same rights and breaks as married couples. She never did, she only said she wouldn't re-define marriage. The fact that she a biblical literalist or fundamentalist scares me more than anything, I just can't wait see her talking in toungues. Sciences in this country have taken a huge hit in the last 8 or so years. People of faith don't bother me as long as they can remove it from their political decisions, but I know this is not the case for this woman. Her pro-life stance was so prevelant in her governoning of alaska it is disgusting.
We can all play the experience game between Obama and Palin, but the fact of the matter is Obama is educated, and didn't spend his time switching bettwen six colleges to obtain his degree(s). Now, I didn't like Obama, I am not big on govt. social programs, but I have to tell you my options have dwindled. However, the first presidential debate made me feel quite a bit better about him. Once McCain announced Palin as VP there was no way I was going to vote for him. Give me McCain from 2000 or 2004 and maybe we will talk, though, he has changed quite a bit. I just wish Mitt Romney was the republican nominee.

Thank god that overall I have a belief that it does not matter that much who the president is.. or otherwise I'd just blow my brains out.
It is actually ridiculous that we have one man lead a nation of 300million different individuals with different opinions and views... if they actually decide to figure out what their actual opinions and views are through education and questioning and thought.
but anyways.. I'm all for DEREGULATION... thats right!
DEREGULATION of the federal government that is... more power to the state governments.
we'd have 50 different Presidents to choose from them.. and If I don't like it here,, moving somewhere else would actually not be such a big problem.

No She didn't. She agreed with Biden that the definition of marriage shouldn't change to include same sex couples. She never answered, Yes they deserve equal rights. She did say though that "I also want to clarify, if there's any kind of suggestion at all from my answer that I would be anything but tolerant of adults in America choosing their partners, choosing relationships that they deem best for themselves, you know, I am tolerant and I have a very diverse family and group of friends and even within that group you would see some who may not agree with me on this issue, some very dear friends who don't agree with me on this issue.
But in that tolerance also, no one would ever propose, not in a McCain-Palin administration, to do anything to prohibit, say, visitations in a hospital or contracts being signed, negotiated between parties.
But I will tell Americans straight up that I don't support defining marriage as anything but between one man and one woman, and I think through nuances we can go round and round about what that actually means."
She doesn't say she will upload a law which legally states those rights.

The fact that someone so dumb and "uneducated" like Palin can even be legitimately compared to a man running for president is insane
