Gunman opens fire on school board (VIDEO)

    http://edition.cnn.com/2010/CRIME/12...ex.html?hpt=C2

All I have to say is... faceplam at 0:49....

Its amazing how much guts and courage that lady had, especially for a female, but that attempt at disarming that man was just funny.

Its hard to believe he missed all those shots while really intending on hurting someone. I think this man was just sick of life and the bad economy, and his wife being fired took his will to live. He wanted to scare somebody. But thats just my opinion. Its a dangerous ****in world out there.

Saw this on the news this morning.

That clip had the end cut off where they shot him.

Interesting that the only hero effect was from a woman, while all the men sat behind their desk!

What Interested me was the Red V he sprayed on the wall, which was nearlly identical to this one That "V" was used in the film V For vendetta

Perhaps the guy was mentally ill, had watched the movie and went on the attempted shooting spree?

One guy behind the desk said something like "I gotta feeling that what you want is the cops come in and kill you because your mad". That is exactly something you DON'T tell a crazy dude with a gun.

    Right!!

Sure, most people aren't trained to deal with those type of situations,

but c'mon man, that's just common sense not to say something like that!

At least the other guy was telling the gunman he'd get his wife her job back!

I thought that at first, too.

Not sure he even wanted to hit them.

the last two shot he fired towards the ground, and wasn't really paying attention to it.

Or, at least, that's how it appears.

The video I was watching paused after the first old guy made it out.

Corrupt politicians. Too bad he doent know how to handle a firearm. I am surprised that this isnt happening everyday. I would have thought that some bankers would have gotten taken out by now. That dude didnt want to hurt anybody. Just extremely frustrated.

I don't know if its just me but I see some sadness in this whole case. I mean for a man to lose his mind after his wife just lost her job and to do this.. it really demonstrates how low some people have fallen due to this economy and how hard it is on the average joe. I feel that he could have killed someone if he wanted to but he didn't want to. Its sad to see the, what was once know, "place of opportunity" turning into such scenes.

What was up with the whole "V" thing from the movie. I thought she pulled off a rescue with the purse the way everyone was talking about it. She even put the purse up for auction. No doubt she has guts for doing what she did considering noboby got up to help her at all when they had the chance.
