Eating right for your blood type (BOOK)
I been feeling very weak for the past year of so, i gained a lot of weight has well and the back pain didnt help my cause.
I decided to start doing some research cause last week i felt so weak due to allergies, i was sleeping all the time and having difficulty getting true my rehab program.
Here is some feedback on myself i am 5 feet 10 and 225 pounds, last year i was able without any exercise cause of the pain to get my bodyweight down to 187 pounds. Following a low carb diet.
This year i guess i just let everything go and ate ate ate.
My massage therapist got me into checking out this book eat right for your blood type, of course i am sceptic but decided to read it anyways.
I am blood type O negative, its been a week now that i changed my diet, stop eating wheat has recommended eating more meat? meat suppose to be bad, and basically changing my eating to a low carb diet, cutting out caffeine and sweetners and stinking sugar.
I cannot beleive how great i am staring to feel, i lost a small amount of weight i am at 219 now and plan to get back down to 180 with a 34 inch waist, now its at 41 inches.
Any of you guys even look into this? i know that on the web there are mixed reviews on this book, so far so good for me.
I have a lot more energy has well and sleep less.

It's really amazing how accurate it is, if you follow it closely it can really dial you into improved health, combine it with keeping alkaline and your health will be pretty close to bullitproof.

I went to an bb seminar recently and the topic of blood-type diets came up. I would like to hear about anyone else who has tried this.

I did a report on it in sports nutrtion, sounded really goofy to be honest, but if it works for some people hey whatever thats all that matters
Ive also heard that Jay Cutler has been using it, I know I know hes a pro and that kinda dosent aply to us but just adding a bit more to this thread....

For the alkaline part of my diet i eat a lot of veggies, broccoli and spinach they are both very good for my blood type has well.
I usually drink 2-3 ACV a day mixed with water. And once a day i will drink 1 tea spoon of baking soda in water, this is very alkaline.
I am currently following a low carb diet and yes eating veggies with protein is pertty much what i do for every meal.
Goal weight 185, start weight 225 now 216 not bad been dieting for a week LOL

ok i found out which type i was today, A+.
so i go the book the store to read the book, eat for your type and live for your type. i think the latter is a better choice.
i was shocked to read my type should be a vegetarian, WTF!
i m eating up to 2lbs of beef everyday, it says i store meat as fat instead of using it for fuel. i m 189 under 10% bf.
it also says i should stay away from bananas, i eat 2-6 a day.
it has a strict diet for me, lots of things that are good everybody else arent good for me bc of my low stomach acid.
i dont know if i should try and follow it or not.
it was exactly right on my personality.
any updates sonar1234?

Has for me i am too different and have to many food allergies, i dont follow the book 100% either, after all its a give and take.
What i do is make sure that i dont have too much acid in the body, i take a tea spoon of baking soda in the morning with water to activate my acid buffer.
I needed to cut out wheat from my diet completely even worst when allergy season comes around, gluten, and all dairy products even whey protein.

I am an O blood type and am wondering what the issue with stomach acid is, why do you need to to lessen it?

Did you know that how your blood type is determined is by the type of antibodies displayed on the surface of red blood cells. The positive or negative in the ABO system is the presence or absence of Rh factors which stands for Rhesus Factor. Which were first found in the rhesus monkey.
