    cardio question

I am over 40 and trying to get back into the shape I once was many years ago. My problem I am dealing with now is extra fat where my muscle used to be (Pecs and upper lats) and a spare tire. I am beginning to see results all over except for these areas. What is the best way to burn up these areas? I have tried stationary bike for 20 min 3 times a week with little results.

Also, I would like to find out how to figure out my BF %

    I am 6-1 205

I'm 45 and I have the same problem.
It seems alot harder to get-rid of the fat than it was
when I was 30. I think that part of the problem is that
our hormones such as Test & GH are much lower now
    than when we were younger.
I have read that several guys here have had great results
by adding a Test cycle in addition to eating clean, cardio and weights.
I think I'll be taking that plunge pretty soon.

I'm 40 myself and do cardio 3 times a week for 40min each day. it will take about 20min for your body to just kick in, so anything after that should see results. 20min itself is not long enough as your body will just be starting then.
Do it first thing in morning before you eat. For example if you do 30 min of cardio you'll get about 10min of it working on fat. Do 40min and you'll get 20min and make sure your diet is good. I just do bike or cross trainer

You'll also have to radically change your diet around. That is the only way.
