What type of equipment?
I had posted before about how I weighed 100 pounds and was told where to go to read up on how to bulk up correctly. I've done a lot of reading on that so I now know how to bring my weight up. Thanks for the reference. Now how about some help in trying to decide what type of weighlifting equipment I should get? I was thinking of Bowflex but aside from that I have no idea. I'd like to purchase something simple and inexpensive, but like I said I really don't know what to start out with. Can you guys give me any suggestions. I really don't want to buy something and then maybe 3 months later find out that I need to purchase additional equipment or that I purchased the wrong items.

I would start with a set of weights (approx 150lbs would do)that include dumbells and a barbell bar, a decent weight bench that can incline, and a pull up bar that installs in a door way. This would suffice for a while.
Then again you could always just join a gym.

Ok stich, I think I'll take your advice on the gym part. I'm thinking that will be easier, this way I won't have to have any heavy equipment around my house. Thanks for the help and the advice.

Don't get a bowflex. I agree with stitch.
