    Wow, just found this!!

HA! Been reading all the stickys and must reads all at the top of the site, but just noticed there was an over 40s forum.
Well Hi, just thought I'd stick my nose in here and see whats up. A little background; 41 with wife 16 years, 2 kids 9(girl) 3(boy). Been training since 2009 when I decided I wanted to join the military, just for fitness at the time, and so I wouldn't get smoked by all the young guys on the long runs in basic. Ended up not going that way with my career but kept in the gym and started to get into body building a little. I've packed on about 15 lbs since starting and increased my strength in all major lifts, but recently I've hit a wall. At the moment I am trying to change my diet and training program for some progress. I own 2 food establishments, and life is pretty hectic, I get to the gym in the morning and then most days gotta drop off the little one and head to work. Sometimes I find it hard getting in a good amount of food to keep me growing but I am trying. Was thinking or starting a food journal thread here since there is no feedback on my fitness pal. Anyway, look forward to meeting and reading here, I hope to learn a thing or 2.

Looking forward to your food journal. I'm 50 or 51 on 9/13/14 first time posting on here. I don't know how you all do it with a family

Then don't! Science, training methodologies, nutrition is so advanced compared to our parents generation that we have the ability to stay healthier and active at a much older age.

    Fight the fight.

I like a challenge, and want to know that I can continue to push myself at my age. "A Rolling Stone Gathers No Moss!"
