Getting back into gear
Hi my 40+ brethren.
I'm a 47 yo guy, and after lots of thought, I'm really thinking about running a cycle again. I'm not new to cycling, but it's been nearly 10 years since I last ran one. I've been taking care of myself since then though and I'm currently at 195lbs with 13% bf.
I was planning on doing a test/tbol cycle. I'm not looking to get the body I had 20 years ago, but I do want to regain strength and size I have lost due to age.
I've planned it like this:
Week 1-4: tbol, 30mg/daily
Week 1-12: test-e, 500mg/week
Week 1-12: hcg , 500iu/week
pct: Clomid, 75/50/50/50 and Nolvadex , 40/20/20/20
During cycle I'll also be taking TUDCA for liver support at 500mg/day.
However, since it's been a long time since I've cycled, I'm open to other people's suggestions, especially from people who have some experience at cycling after 40. Do any of you recommend changing anything? Or recommend certain precautions given my age?
Thanks!

I'm in the same boat with you. I'm 48 and had shoulder surgery in May and have lost a lot of mass and strength just from not being able to go the gym for 3 months. Started back regular in September and just started a cycle today.
Mine is a bit different that yours but just like you not looking to get huge but to get lean mass gains and strength back.
My is planned like this:
Week 1-12 Test / EQ blend 200/150mg/week
Week 2-10 Tren A / Mast P 75/100 (300/400mg/Week) Probably will up the Tren to 400mg/week to get a 2:1 ratio to the Test. Will see how sides are first.
PCT basically the same as yours
DHEA supplements
TUDCA for liver as well
I got really nice gains back in 2015 off a cycle like this one, hope to get back to where I was then.
Also have some Winny that I might use at the very end of cycle but not for sure yet.
Hope you get good results off yours as well, getting older sucks! Looking forward to having some extra energy for a while.

Eq is a waste especially at you age though.
We can do better.

I'm 45 and recently started back after 5 or 6 years. The only issues I've run into is blood sugar issues (I'm hypoglycemic). Letting my hemoglobin get high seems to effect it. I also experienced what seemed to be a swollen prostate (trouble peeing), but that went away shortly after ending cycle. I am on trt when not blasting

I should mention I have zero blood pressure issues. My brother is 48, and he has high bp, and AAS greatly affects his.

I would suggest getting your bloodwork done first and see if you qualify for TRT. If so you do not need to do PCT. Do you take Cialis? I found a huge difference in taking that daily.
