It's about establishing baselines pre cycle to help guide recovery. For TRT it's about dialing in your protocol.

Basic blood work could look as follows:

    Total T
    Free T
    LH/FSH
    E2 Sensitive
    SHBG
    CBC
    CMP
    Cholesterol Panel
    TSH, FT3, FT4

    Other items to consider:

    Prolactin
    Vit D
    Igf-1

Depends on whether insurance is paying or it's out of pocket. The Successful First Cycle sticky as a list and denotes private labs where BW can be obtained without a doctors script if in most states. In the HRT Forum's Finding A Doc sticky thread is another list.
    -*- NO SOURCE CHECKS -*-

I’m new at this too so I can’t tell you that this is your best option. But it is one option.
