Has elite fitness re-located?
wow, I just got an email from jay about this place.
I was surprised to come on here and see so many elite fitness guys and gals. Its gonna be weird looking on two boards with the same people.
Are any of you going to visit elite much?
Heya to everyone i "know" (shit this is the internet) from else where.
Ummmm im 22 years old and i havent been lifting that long.....after struggling in a void of what i wanted from lifting weights i stumbled across powerlifting. I am finally happy with what i have achieved (which might not mean much to many of you) overcoming many mental barriers/problems, time constraints, and physical injurys (last one a broken meta tarsal with 3 weeks left to heal)
Im looking at a 2.3 X body weight dead lift, a 1.7 x body weight bench and a 2.2 x body weight squat..........so far natural and currently experimenting with bench shirts and lifting suits
I currently train at home alone.
But will soon venture into a gym to train with one of my heros (actually he buys rare roast beef from my deli!) who just pulled 825 in the gym and has a record of 792 at a little bit under 242.
I think this experience will help me a lot.
anyway i have to train now
thank you for having me!

I don't think big joe (the 825 deadlifter) would have a connection to the internet....i will talk to him in a couple days.
He is an amazing person, physically and his kind nature.
He is a freak. He switches from body building to powerlifting. Backwards and forwards. all the powerlifting makes him "too thick" around the waist....all muscle though.
He lifts in CAPO an australian powerlifting federation
