band tensions ?
I'm a little confused on the Lbs. of tension bands have for the bench.I use DB's on the floor for an anchor point,and then anchor the ends on the last 2-3"s of the bar.
This what I ve read on the tensions,
Reds=20-40lbs
purples=50-75lbs
greens=70-100lbs
blues=100-125lbs.
(i have a pair of all of them)
so what I'm asking ,usin the setup I mentioned above for the bench what would be the tension at chest level then at lockout ?

Band Strength
Came across this while doing a search and I hope you are able to still read my post. Doc is right. Don't even try to figure it out. I just use bands and weights in combination that I can work speed. I also occasionally do the circa max program for Max Squats. If I am doing sheiko I try to compensate in the percentages for the band strength. Generally I will figure my weights from the percentages and then deduct a portion of the band weight strength (usually half of what Elite Fitness puts them at). Works pretty well for me. You have to experiment. Do what works for you not somebody else.
