I have noticed many people here complain about Brown rice and how hard it is for them to eat it plain..

This is how I make my brown rice and I love it!!

Its a Japanese recipe and made for sushi but I still love it.


Take your normal water 2 cups to 1 cup rice.

Put water in pot and add 3 splenda's/equals/ or other sweetener (not sugar obviously) or add less to your liking..

Then the major trick is add one teaspoon of yellow fine corn meal.. Mix it in the pot, let the water come to a boil, add rice, cover and simmer until water is gone or 40 minutes..


The rice comes out sticky and sweet.. You can make patties with it or sushi..
