low Carb Protein Bars (Minimal fuss and ingredients)

Dead easy. Super low carb and healthy fats.

    Combine

    2 parts vanilla whey
1part (ground) almond flour (or similar)
1 part flaked coconut (I like to toast mine in a dry frying pan)

Add a milk of your choice (skim, almond, soya etc) and combine to desired consistency. Too dry and they fall apart. Too wet and they will be too sticky. Form into bars of whatever size you like.

I like to top some with a little melted 70% dark chocolate but they are great as they are.

No cooking required and store in the fridge.

    Enjoy

So, 50% whey, 25% each of the other.

Or. 1 cup whey and 0.5 cups of each of the other.

Doesn't matter what amounts as long as the ratios are about the same. I use 100g and 50g + 50g at a time.

I made them today slightly different

100g vanilla casein (needs more liquid to bind)
    25g ground almonds
25g flaked almonds chopped up slightly and toasted
    50g toasted flaked coconut
    Bound with skim milk

The toasted almonds make a difference.

FYI, macros for 100g bar made with my ingredients (and some dark choccy on top) are approx

    Carbs 5g
    Pro 20g
    Fat 14g

Sounds great. Gonna try it tonight with the new glazed donut protein I just bought, haha. If you were doing 2 cups protein and 1 each of the other, how much milk would you use? Is 2 % ok?
