How Many of you are using this and do you like it?
How Many of you are using this and do you like it?
so far its 100%....lol
bump
ive actually been using it for over a year my bodybuilder buddy loves it. i love the whole idea behind it
tried it and found i over trainined fast
even on reloads i over trained fast, deloads didnt allow me to recover enough and still stay in overtrained state
however it does seems to work for alot of people, guess everyone is different
the biggest bodybuilders in my gym use slingshot training....it contains the first real mass buildidng secrets of the bodybuilding legends.....just look at tricky jackson.....dave palumbo!!!!!...i freakin luv it!!!!
I've been wanting to try it, but its like reading a novel trying to get through all those posts lol
I'll simplify it for you!
Run a steroid cycle for 8 weeks. During this 8 week period utilize anywhwere from between 6-12 sets per body part once a week. Protein intake remains high. THIS IS YOUR 8 WEEK RELOAD!
Next, reduce steroid intake by at least half, reduce protein intake by around half and reduce work sets by half for 2 weeks. So if you are doing 8 sets for chest during reload you will only do 4 sets per week during 2 week deload. THIS IS YOUR 2 WEEK DELOAD!
Start another 8 week reload and 2 week deload is complete and so on. It's that simple!
don't mean to be rude or come across cocky but why do you need to use steroids? for this
coz anyone naturally would overtrain
as to ronnie, i didnt use to much volume
i actually trained at the lower end of ur reload phase
e.g
8 sets for chest
8 sets for back
6 sets foir biceps etc
and i still overtrained
just goes to show everyone is different
and gear was legit,
I'm trying it now. 5 weeks in and my only question for those that run it after the 8 week cycle then cutting everything in half for 2 weeks included your AAS do you jump right back on another 8 weeks cycle of AAS when you reload again? How long do you do this for?
i actually cut my chest work out from 20 - 24 sets... to 12 - 14 sets and when i re load i am going down to 7 to 8 heavy !!!! sets...
brother i would never ever have tried this but it just totally makes sense... AND I MUST SAY I HAVE NOT HAD A INJURY THAT HAS STOPPED ME WORKING OUT - IF I GET HURT I CAN ALWAYS DROP BACK OR TAKE THAT MUSCLE GROUP OFF FOR A WEEK OR TWO... THEN I RIGHT BACK IN TO IT
^^^^agree, something is wrong if you overtraining at 6 sets for biceps and 8 sets for back![]()
yea i agree
ronnie could you get my question please..
I'm sorry I must have missed this question. No the 12 sets do not include warm up sets.
Keep in mind that 12 work sets is a lot. At the present, my wife and I are only doing 8 sets per major body part. Again, warm up sets not included.
It all boils down to finding how many sets you do best with given you do not exceed 12 sets a week. That's what I have been trying to explain to ranging but I don't think he understands.
I have yet to see anyone benefit from doing more that 12 intense work sets per week. For some 12 sets is too many!
slingshot methdology is great.... finding what pattern of reloading/deloading works best for you is key... a well as switching rep ranges and exercises through blasts... great routine
just started STS about 5 wks in and think its working great for me
Hey ronnie just got a 12 week cycle of test e/deca/5 weeks dbol. I wanna do stp but how would I run this cycle and incorporate it with ur training system
Please click on the following link and ask this question in the steroid section and I can answer you! http://forums.steroid.com/showthread.php?t=402776
Ive never used the Slingshot method but I am a HUDGE fan of the IRON MAN HIT and that's in the same category. Ill never go back to workking each muscle once a week and working out 5 days(1 or 2 muscles each day). Using this type of workout I get stronger every workout and grow much faster
The original IRONMAN HIT was void of rest-pause and more effective IMO than the version Dewayne (IRONMAN) posted. With Slingshot you can also workout only 3 days per week using few sets and mostly compound exercises. You can also hit the muscle twice a week. It's set up in a way to accomodate everyone's needs.
Note: I was the originator of the IRONMAN HIT. Dewayne took my ideas, added rest-pause and post them on the web. It was a mess!
Not sure which version I was using but it is the one posted in "Various Training Techniques". I was gonna look at the sling shot but the Iron Man worked so well for me I didnt see a need to change. I was getting stronger every week and loved my results. The Slingshot article is basically a book and I have just been lazy. Im gonna look it over now and see what its all about. If you did create the Iron man THANK YOU!!! I cannot tell you how many people I gave it to and were shocked, and upset they hadnt gotten it sooner. ITS THE REAL DEAL!!!
Your welcome. The IRONMAN is very similar to DC Training in that you only train 3 days per week and hit each muscle every 3 rd or 4th day. But, no rest-pause-only straight sets! In general, 3-5 work sets per body part are performed per body part.
Slingshot can be the same thing if you chose but after 8 weeks of training you decrease training volume for 2 week before going back to more volume. That's pretty much all there is to it. Simple, yet effective and user friendly.
mm little apprehensive about it. never seen pros do it
Sure they do...http://www.trickyjackson.com/training/index.html
The very first time im reading about this (due to not being on in a while) and im totally digging it! Sounds like ill give it a shot!
