I was introduced to walking (dont flame please) with weights. Carry a 10 lb weight in each hand for an hour.... .

I've been walking with a weighted vest for about a year now, I love it.... So does the dog, it gets me to actually walk that mutt.

(Spend some money for a good variable weight vest, it's worth it)
