Pride is one of mans greatest down falls.

Everything was impossible until somebody did it!

    I've got 99 problems......but my squat/dead ain't one !!

It doesnt matter how good looking she is, some where, some one is tired of her shit.

Light travels faster then sound. This is why some people appear bright until you hear them speak.

Great place to start researching ! http://forums.steroid.com/anabolic-s...-database.html

Absolutely. People that have pride in their belief that they are better than others, look down on others, have no clue about humility, it is f-in disgusting.

Pride in a good lift, doing a good job.... it's different. I wish there was an entirely different word for that.
There are 3 loves in my life: my wife, my English mastiffs, and my weightlifting....Man, my wife gets really pissed when I get the 3 confused...

Proof that powerlifting is holier than bodybuilding.

Exactly my point, pride is doing a good job. Why find a better or alternative word? It’s those that associate it with supremacy over others that need to find another word and it’s supremacist.

Being prideful & feeling supreme over another are in fact somewhat separate ideas. Thank you for confirming yet another of my points in my original post. That is that an individual cannot express pride in being a good white American citizen without somehow having that simple idea be linked with the negativity of supremacy.

Ugh....guess I'll wander on into work. 34°F and rain.

Used to be I could tolerate the cold, mud, and craptacular weather so much better when I was young and would laugh at it. Now it would probably wreck me. Getting old.

Lmao I’m cold when it’s under 60 now, I used wear a sub-zeros body suit and well drill in 0 degree weather, snow/rain. I don’t know how I did it.

Oh Lord, you too? Water wells as in bored wells and drilled wells?
Supposedly I was too young to legally be doing the job because I was still in high school, but I used to work for a local well driller in addition to my after school job so I would have more $$. The absolute worst part of the job for me was when setting the casings for the bored wells if the didn't sit down one on top of the other. I do not miss riding the collet back down 30+ feet into the hole and physically seating 2 sections of casing by bracing my legs on the lower piece of casing and using my back to push the upper section around until the lip of one section dropped over the other section.

Pulling and setting pumps wasn't too bad, but the crap of shoveling granite dust and mud away from the drilled wells when the hole was blasted out with air sucked in the winter.

Climbing the mast on a drilling rig if a hose blew was pretty crappy too.
