if you are referring to amobi as a wasted pick, i must agree to disagree with you. Amobi was a good pick for the texans for many different reasons. 1) it is an area of need. 2) he can bring a pass rush from the inside(ie warren sapp) 3) will free up your number one pick overall last year to get to the quarterback. 4) will help out your team for 12-15 years!! Amobi was def the best player on the board that filled a need for your team.... as well as replacing carr, i think you guys got played by the falcons(my team!!!). matt is a decent quarterback and is 0-3 as a starter. i think that he is just as good as carr and may have upside on him cause he has not been sacked 1000000000 times. however, with no real additions to your ol, if you dont pick up a vet b4 the season i think that he will have the same effect as carr. a qb can not help out if he is laying on the ground all the time.

yea i dont know what the hell is going on. i hope this all gets resolved real soon. if vick is guilty he will be out of atlanta by the end of the year. i hope he is not, patrino has a awesome resume of getting qb's to play up to their potential.

I am not a panthers fan, but I think they had a very good draft. The first 3 pickss were spot on. LB Beason, WR Dwayne Jarrett, and C Ryan Kalil. 3 guys that can all come in and start now.

I think the Jets had a really good draft. Rivas (CB) and Harris (LB) will be impact players this year.

yea the panthers had a great draft, beason, and dj will start immediatly, kalil will not start this year, i believe he will start next year. center is one of the hardest if not THE hardest position to step in as a rookie. you have to learn how to read pro style blitzes and name your whole offensive lines blocking assignment............ as far as the jets they def filled needs and got 2 quality players to start, however i think they gave up too much to get them. this draft was fairly weak with talent and they gave up a lot for 2 players imo who will be good but not great....i think harris will be better than revies

honestly i think they are sub par at best, especially compared to last years. i am not sold on russel, huge arm but very sloppy in his footwork as well as decision making. i think he will be a bust just because i do not think he will spend the amount of time necessary studying the game to get the most of his natural ability. if you put peyton manning work ethic in his body it would be the best qb of all time (then again if any qb had his work ethic he would be pretty damn good). quinn i do not like personally but has a good chance to be a DECENT starter. however i am going to go WAY OFF on a limb and say that drew stanton is going to be a stud in about 3-4 years if given the chance. he has everything in place to become a great nfl qb.1) detroit has a great core of recievers 2) has a veteren qb to groom him ( i know kitna is no farve but he has been in the league for 10 years? i think, so he must be doing somthing right not to mention he was there when the Bengals drafted CP. 3) good work ethic, never heard anything concerning character questions regarding him 4) has coaches who can get the most out of him (ie mike martz) look what he did with warner...... the greatest show on turf.
on a side note after the draft john kitna would def be a great fantasy football sleeper qb who you could get in a later round.

yea i should of made that more clear...when i say russel will be a bust i mean that he will not live up to the hype of going one overall. i do not think he will be horrible just that he will not be the superstar type of player that should be drafted number one overall.

i think that russell might start off strong but will not have a long career as a starter in the nfl. but once again no one knows, we will all just have to wait and see.

BigGuy5420, Love your analysis of Russel. I have never been a fan. he has a huge arm, and experts absolutely fall in love with it. Having a cannon for an arm has nothing to do with NFL succcess. Before everyone jumps on me for saying that, I know that you have to have a good arm. I think velocity is so much more important than arm strength. Take qb's like Matt Lienart and Vince Young, they may not be able to throw a ball 70 yards (most experts said they didn't have an NFL arm) but they have the velocity needed to make the throws acorss the middle of the field and the sidelines. Which is much more important than being able to throw a ball 60 yards of a knee (which is the main reason kyle boller was drafted so high, he has a cannon, but it hasn't done him any good.)
I like Quinn, I think he has the toughness and leadership to be a solid QB. he'll never be Peyton Manning accurate but I see him as a tough, gutty leader that has a few good years. think Mark Brunell.
John Beck - System QB, very accurate, but played in a system that had a lot of timing routes. Think steve Spurrier Florida QB's. I think beck can be a long term back up, think Damon Huard.
My favorites are Drew Stanton, Brady Quinn, and as sleepers I really like Jeff Rowe.

How do you see the Steelers doing next year, and what kind of season do you expect of Big Ben?

What are the Titans doing? I am a huge Vince Young fan, and they let all his best weapons go. Didn't they have money to spend in free agency?

the titans imo had the 2nd worst pre-draft offseason next to the bills and maybe the #1 worst offseason post draft. first of i do not get drafting griffin at S when there are much larger holes to fill. even if they were to draft a safety why not Nelson? i would of even taken merriweather of griffin. my only guess on why they had such a horrific offseason if because they knew they could not compete tthis year so decided to clear up space getting rid of their older players and make big moves next season... but who knows

alright fellas, we're getting closer and i'm ready for some super bowl predictions. i'm going with the pats out of the afc because, well they have tom brady for 1 and 2 i really like their addition of moss and i know he's not done being a dominate nfl receiver + look who's throwing the ball to him and they do have a very solid defense. i'm sure alot of ya'll will like indy and san diego also. as far as the nfc goes i'm wide open just like last year. i'm intrested on your thoughts and predictions bigguy.

1) saints (hate to say it)
2) eagles ( 2 words takeo spikes)
3)arizona (so much talent, why arnt they good yet? this is the year!)
4)49ers ( has the best ownership and coaching combo in the nfc)
5) falcons(got to say it, have hope, even though vick is an idiot)
i know three and four are streches but it is all up in the air in nfc....what about you

I think the Pats will destroy everyone. The nfc is still up for grabs, I think its between the seahawks, saints, and bears.
