i am not an expert by any means just obsessed and very knowledgeable with football and told by many friends to go on the espn show "stump the Schwabb", my only problem is my knowledge is limited to football only..i have won 4 out of 6 fantasy football leagues i was in last year, and placed in the top 4 in the other 2.no promises but if you are in a money fantasy football league next year and need any advice i would be more than happy to share what i know..however i am not perfect, only close(ie jerry rice)

none the only betting i do is fantasy football leagues, as well as ncaa tourny bracket which is usually for a small amount only 10 bucks, where i have been in a ff league with ten people 350 dollars a piece, and the smallest was 10 people 100 a peice, lets just say i made many free cycles.(wow that sounded conceited), just offering advice for free, plus it gives me a thread to keep up with at work, and i just love to talk/debate the nfl with anyone

cool.. here's one for you..
just the bowl games, go back to last year, and see if you picked them all correectly, or what % you would have won.. .if you had picked..
just curious.. I'm sure if you are that involved you will come out pretty good, there were some suprises this past year, but more people will be picking your brain the closer we get to the season...The answer to your every question

alright i will go through a few, i am more knowledgeable BY FAR on the nfl, but here it goes
BCS Champ- i had flordia, quite simply put, defense wins championships, and any team from the sec can play defense(this is the only one i picked)
sugar bowl- def would go lsu over ND, same reason as above however i would not of expected such a blowout, plus brady quinn was def overrated last year
rose bowl- i would of picked Michigan over usc, i had no clue that mich secondary would get as toasted as it did, but i guess what could i expect with usc havening 2 of the premier wideouts in college football
the fiesta bowl- would of gone Oklahoma over boise state(who wouldnt) but damn that might of been the best game i have ever seen

bigguy since you like to debate about football, what team will miss a player the most that was traded or signed by another team during the off season

there are a few, first off i would have to say the bears, judging by your name you know who im talking about. thomas jones is a very underrated player(even though he is not good in ff), and im not sold on cedric benson carrying the full load.
-another team would be the ravens, i think it was a definite upgrade bringing in willie on the offense over lewis, however the loss of idalius thomas is a HUGE loss to their D, not to mention that ray lewis, and trevor pryce are on the decline.
-another one people might not think of is donte stallworth is gone from the eagles, garcia is gone and when mcnabb was playing last year stallworth was his man. this will make Reggie brown be a number one receiver and i dont know if that will work with mcnabb. not to mention i think that brian westbrook is inconsistent year to year

also the giants loosing tiki is huge, tom coughlin better find a solution to fix that team quick, for his own sake....however there is still talent on both sides of the ball

yea, i think denver picking up dre bly adds a lot of depth to their d now they have 2 shut down coreners, and new england made the biggest pickups so far.....i hate new england

i absolutly hate tom brady but i give him props hes a sick player, that is true denver does not have pass rush but bly will add a lot of depth if you look back to when denver lost to indy a few years ago it was bc they copuldnt cover wayne and harrison they had bailey to cover harrison but nobody could cover wayne now they have that second d-back to shut down the pass

nyjets fan that is very true and a good call, but if they had a good pass rush manning wouldnt have time to get the ball to wayne, but good call none the less..
tip- i am a mock draft freak, what team?
-
04-03-2007, 10:05 PM #18
The Rams and Dolphins
-
04-03-2007, 10:07 PM #19
yea i think if they could get a good pass rusher and a running back since they traded away tatum bell who wasnt the greatest but they would be a very dominate team if they could do so

Are the chiefs going to ever quit sucking???? I can't take it much longer!!!
-
04-03-2007, 10:19 PM #24
probably not they are stuck with herm edwards which was a sucked for my jets for a while but we finally got rid of him and turned a 4-12 team into 10-6 playoff team get rid of him and rebuild that d
-
04-03-2007, 10:20 PM #25
yeah but he did take the chiefs to the playoffs which is a first in 7 years or so
! but it doesnt help when you have San Diego and Denver in your division

i would think the dolphins could go okeye, branch, leon hall, but with the dolphins moving to the 3-4 branch would be my best guess. he better fits the dt in the 3-4
the rams def need defensive line help i would bet either okeye or branch whoever is left overLast edited by BigGuy5420; 04-03-2007 at 10:31 PM.

that was a fluke he took the jets to the second round of the playoffs and then the next year they fell apart i hate him and think hes a horrible coach, the chiefs need to add more depth to their team they cant just put the load of the team on l.j. and tony gonzalez needs to pick it up this year he sucked last season

the cheifs are in "rebuilding mode" their great offenseive line is getting old and falling apart, larry johnson can only do so much, they are running him into the ground. gonzalaz is still good but dosent have many years left, on D the def need to adress the secondary

good at least youre not one of those extremly pro-vick falcon fans, hes a great player i dont think a great quater back he needs to improve his throwing and then will be a good qb, what do you think about the departure of kearny?

I FFFFFFFFFFF*********CCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKIN HATE IT!!!! he was my favorite player, i bought his jersey last year only to loose him this year!!! he was not the most consistent but he played like an animal, high motor all the time, great player, him and brooking were leaders of the D.
i am very excited this year with all the new changes but i dont want to jinx myself so i dont want to get started, but i expect at least the playoffs, then anything can happen

first off
got rid of mora, picked up patrino( HUGE UPGRADE)
rid of justin griffeth(sp??)picked up Mughelli (fullback) I think this is an upgrade
picked up joe horn which i think is huge cause he can teach the young wr;s how to up their games
then picked up a CB, DT, and 2 OL, and WR none worth mentioning besides this fatass fanoti(OL) who weighs close to 400 pounds,
I like the idea of playing smashmouth football, get big up front, control the line of scrimmage, control the game
