The point Mealticket was making before he started gettin' on you was that you don't want to give the kid a complex.
He hasn't hit puberty yet either, so a large gain in weight isn't to be expected, but if he's 55 lbs. because his diet consists of shit, then i'd attempt to remedy that.

You're My Hero.
How exactly are you speaking up for this kid? The kid obviously eats like crap, and his uncle wanted to teach him to eat right and possibly mix some protein into a smoothie. He wasn't going to give the kid roids or crystal meth, so quit playing the "Savior" card.Last edited by MAXIMA5; 03-09-2006 at 03:40 PM.

Honestly i think, along with the other intelligent people on this forum, that all a ten year old kid needs to gain weight is just increased nutrition. If you wanted to supplement with protien that's as far as I'd go. I have a brother that's 15 years old and he's hit that age where puberty kicks in and his testosterone levels are through the roof and all he needs is added, clean nutrition and a tiny protein supplement to aid his development. All the luck to you and your bro, just make sure he doesn't take any supplements at this young age that'll stunt his growth at a later period in his life.
