You could a while ago. He said he used andro. Who knows. He was on the same team as Canseco. Andro is banned now.

canseco claimed he injected Mcgwire himself, and mark was very obviously hiding things in the congressional hearings, so i'd say that he most likely didn't use just over the counter drugs.

look up everything good ol' Rafael Palmeiro said, first he made fun and poked fingers at everyone who got in trouble for steroids , and even stated a few times he would never want an asterik next to any of his accomplishments...couple months later...he tests positive...

Actually a buddy of mine played on his team the A's.... he said he was in they both were nursing injuries at the time and the were in the whirlpool area with just shorts on... he said that man was beyond stacked.... Said he was massive and ripped...and also had acne on his back.... He said the man must of put on 20-30lbs during the strike... in the club house every1 would say "damn Mac what are you on?!?!" He would just smile and laugh.... hmmmm

I met/had a meeting(probably 8 years ago) with a dude who was on the A's training staff when the Bash Bros. were there. I asked if there were roids involved and he said of course, the locker room knew they(Mac/Jose) were using along with a few others, but nobody cared (they were winning-3X league champs '88-'91, world series champs '89). He didn't say what they used, just that it was well known in the clubhouse. The andro in Mac's locker was a prop in my mind, meant to draw attention away from the AS he was taking. The trainer himself was a kickboxer, told me about shooting demerol and test. b4 his fights! Pretty smart, explained why his nose looked like a smooshed marshmellow...
