    n.o. vs. vasodilators

Ive been thinking of trying some nitric oxide supplements, but are vaso products better for increased blood flow?

do they actually promote muscle building?

From my experience, not really. I did experience better pumps, increased vascularity, and increased erections throughout the day.

what do you mean by vasodiolators?

arginine the main component of NO products is a very potent vasodialator.

but then again so are a lot of other EAA's. Are you saying something like Citrulline, or Glutamine? if thats the case I'd say go with and arginine based product theyre more expensive but more effective.

here maybe this helps I posted this in another post about NO products...

    No2 - Nitrous Oxide

NO2 main ingredient is arginine salts. When you ingest arginine you body converts it to nitric oxide. By increasing the amount of circulating nitric oxide, it causes a reaction knows as hemodialation. Hemo = vessel dialation = opening of(literally). So the reaction you have hear causing a dialation of blood vessels, allows your body to pump more blood effeciently. Your cardiac output is increased, and more blood is pumped to every organ system. Be it neural, cardiac, pulmonary, musculo-skelatal, hell even your skin.

Your say shiiiit why would i want that....? well for a few reasons:

More bloodflow to the brain - better cognitivity
More bloodflow to you lungs - better endurance
More bloodflow to muscles - optimal nutrient delivery, and creates a perpetual pump(so to speak)
More bloodflow to skin - better skin tone
More bloodflow through the heart - Increases cardiac output = Lower Blood pressure.

so you see in theory its great!!!! But...

Your body cant fully convert arginine in ANY ester, so most of it becomes an enzyme known as arginase, which is something that actually blocks nitric oxide (bad)

There are products out there that have a compound known as Cindium Monnier(sp?) which is a potent arginase blocker.

IMO "NO" products are good if you're going to the beach or out to a club/bar and wanna look a bit more pumped otherwise save your cash, and use it to buy food.

On a side note... Arginine is a potent vasodialator so it increases bloodflow everywhere, know what I mean??? So that means even your pecker gets a pump.... haha Its helpful in treating ED, is what I'm trying to say.
