Acetyl-L-Carnitine `
I did a search on the Acetyl-L-Carnitine and ACL and tried to determine the amount I should take orally and when I should take it.
I looked at all the benefits as posted by SVT Muscle. But I couldnt figure out how much to take, and when I should take it. Is it better as a preworkout or a post workout supplement.

this isn't a supp. that you should view as a pre or post workout only thing
it should be consumed maybe 3x per day at 1-3g per serving
some claim to only notice it at doses above the 4.5g/day range, but it is not cheap so do what you feel. I would not go less than 3g though. Just a personal opinion.
I run 1g three times per day every day

Are you mixing it with anything, such as in your protien shake, juice or just mixing it with water? Thanks for the input. As for the cost I dont have a problem with the costs. Nothing worth doing is ever cheap or easy.

i try to mix it with crystal light, diet lemonade, etc. (to mask the taste)
you are better off to buy it in 500mg capsule form if you can
I believe it converts to acetic acid (vinegar) as it hits air+moisture so it can be very bitter

Thanks for the tip, I will start tomorrow and mix is with crystal light I have that buy the tons, only thing I drink other then water and protien shakes. Ddint think it would make the shakes taste too good so.
