celedrin and cissus are supposed to be good. I am on msm/glucosamine/chondroitin and they always work but i have to keep takin it and it takes a few weeks to really notice anything if you are new to it.

I have been told that if you have an injury to a tendon/ligament, HGH is going to be your only option for rehabilitation. Well according to what I have found, I am not sure this is the case. This I found interesting:

    "Tendon structure:

Tendons consist of tightly packed bundles of collagen fibres"
    link: http://www.vin.com/proceedings/Proce... 67&O=Generic
    --------

    "A normal ligament consists of:

    90% Type 1 collagen
    9% Type 3 collagen
1% fibroblast cells (the cells that produce collagen)"
    Link: http://www.physioroom.com/injuries/s.../ligaments.php
    --------

"Adequan contains a molecule called polysulfated glycosaminoglycan. Basically, what this does is two things:

    1) it helps rebuild the cartilage - the cushion is not gone forever, and the cat or dog (Or human can rebuild it. However, it needs the raw materials, and polysulfated glycosaminoglycan is one of those.

    2) it stops the destruction of cartilage by other enzymes. It has an anti-inflammatory effect, which stops both the pain of arthritis and the additional damage that inflammation can cause"

"adequan signifigantly increases the natural collagen repair process."

Now wouldnt this make you think that adequan can potentially be the answer to your injury?

I am trying to obtain some. I will run it at least 21 days and post a log.

glucosamine/chondroitin give it a few weeks...

Then add MSM if you dont get results with only the glucosamine/chondroitin.

The msm is expensive... and I noticed an improvement with only the glucosamine/chondroitin.

Glucosamine works great. You may need to take a larger dose. I gave it to my 3 year old cocker spanial, and he can climb up stairs, and do allot more than he could before.

Thats how I discovered it too!

I noticed it on all the dog food for older dogs, added for joint troubles...
And went to the health food store to find it for humans, sure enuff its very common.

You have to make sure your taking the right dosage, typically 2 pills 2-3x daily, and also give it some time to work, it takes a little time to get it 'built up' in your system.
