N.O. Shotgun is AWESOME. Thank you Csar!
I was previously taking N.O. Explode. That shit went into the trash(whole tub of N.O. Explode) after my first workout with N.O. Shotgun. Big thanks to Csar. I probably would have never tried the product, but after reading your thoughts on it, I gave it a shot.
A miracle supplement it is not, but it does give you the pump. Cool thing is, the harder you push, the better the effects of the supplement (at least it seems). I am by no means a bodybuilding veteran, but I can assure you, this stuff is great.Last edited by wanescotting; 12-25-2006 at 05:15 AM.

IMO it is overpriced for people on a budget. Not worth the money unless you have it to blow. Not a necessity like whey pro. ECA, AMP, and just plain old caffeine pills will give you an intense work out, and it is being smarter with your money. IMO

That's about $5.33 per week for a supplement that does exactly what it's advertised to do and I don't have to take 15 different products to get the same effect.
Kaioken - I find the focus produced by NO Shotgun to be similar but slightly different to that of coffee. For me, NO Shotgun produces a mellow, but controlled increase in energy and focus. For whatever reason, coffee leaves me feeling jittery and slightly irritates my stomach. NO Xplode made me shake and I was so hyper that I felt like a ferret on crack.

Roughly 40? I'm picking mines up for 29.95. It is a 1.78 lb tub though.

Muscle growth? Cut you up? Or just designed to give you a boost in energy?***No source checks!!!***

I only here this type of reasoning from a sales tactic, are you making money promoting this item? I can tell you all I want is 50 cents a day for you to buy my bike, then bill you $365 for 2 years? If you could buy 4 servings for $5.33 than you could say that it costs $5.35 but you can’t. I have to spend roughly $40 to buy, that is how much it cost. It is all about how much you have to dish out at once.
Using your reasoning you could also say you spend roughly $300 a year on a product that is not that important for gains. That sounds foolish to me. IMO
IMO these people are wayyy over pricing there products, almost to a point of ripping you off. All you bros out there should save your money and buy some whey, flax, vitamins, big tub of creatine (without all the fancy hype wording)….all this stuff is wayyy more for your money.
You want a intense work out take ECA, AMP, or coffee.Last edited by surfnsailor; 12-26-2006 at 02:24 PM.

imo NO shotgun does have a bit of an anabolic factor to it, unlike other preworkout NO supplements. Its got a full dose of creatine and branch chains, which have anabolic properties to em. I'm sure it also has a small effect on fat burning given the caffeine & other thermogenic agents, but im gonna guess its minimal at best. When you compare shotgun to other preworkout NO supps (i.e. NO explode, superpump, amplify O2--ive used all 3), they dont have the same profile as the shotgun. Sure they have the arginine, caffeine & a smidge of creatine (not enough to really "do the job"), but in no way do those previously listed ingredients have anabolic properties to them. The one area thats def lagging in the shotgun is the focus and energy, but it more than makes up for it w/ the skin tearing pumps...the pumps are just this side of painful!

I stated the rough price for one tub of NO Shotgun and broke it down into how many weeks it would last. I then gave a cost per week, which has nothing to do with your idea of a payment plan. Several supplement websites will give price per week and price per serving as a means of comparing supplements, NOT for payment plans. Obviously you're a graduate of Harvard Business School.
Just to make sure, you're saying that NO Shotgun doesn't produce gains? Jeez, what was I thinking? A product with creatine, BCAA's, and glutamine that also increases focus, energy, and motivation in the gym? Yeah, you're right...it does nothing for gains.
If you want to discourage people from buying supplements in the supplement forum, then start your own thread.

Like he says a product with Glu, BCAA, Cre… all this stuff can be had at a fraction of the cost. Mixed in one jug. Only taking a few minuites to mix will last you all year or longer. Would you rather pay a supp co. $150 to mix it for you when you can do it in a few minutes?
Anyway, I hope there are some brothers out there that are receiving this, that I am not writing all this in vain. I know there are some brothas out there that work hard for there money and want to be wise with it. Take care bros

I have been experimenting for years with pre work out elixirs . From gobblin down ephedrine caffine creatine glutamine ......the list goes on .
All mixtures helped but sooner or later fell by the waste side .
Then I tried No Explode and was very pleased but holy mac when I tried the Shotgun it blew me away . Wicked product for pre work out and the pumps ....well all who have tried it know what I am talking about .
It is expensive yes, but if you eat sleep train and then some .... you don't mind dippin into the pocket book .
IMO it does the job it set out to do and my workouts benifit ten fold .
It is not a necessity but what the hell drink it down ....just dont plan to sleep for a few hours after .

WOW! When did this thread become a fire hazard? I was just trying to pass along some useful info to others. If I want to spend $300 a month on supplements (and I do), I will.
Surfnsailor you claim you are watching out for the "youngsters"? Maybe Csar is trying to further that by letting folks know what works and what doesn't. Why don't you post YOUR wonder formula for a N.O. preworkout supplement? That would be helpful, your thread crapping is not.

Leg day #2 on N.O. Shotgun. CALM....I never realized how anxious and jumpy I was on N.O. Explode. It always mellowed me out, but today was awesome. Now, don't get me wrong, it doesn't make you tired or anything, but you feel relaxed (I am VERY high strung).
I did my normal workout, yet I feel as if I have done nothing, I have a feeling Doms (delayed onset muscle soreness) will be a bitch on Saturday.

I guess I should apologize to surfnsailor 'cause that wasn't very nice of me. I have no excuse for my rudeness other than to say MyogenX makes me "testy". He does have a good point - most supps are crap and way overpriced. Saving time and money are exactly why we should help each other and share info on supps that really work. There's also a thread on how to make your own supps, so if anyone has any ideas please post them.
Regarding the South Park episode...Brah, do you know what this is? It's bear mace!
