    Creatine Serving

Ok, like I said in an earlier post, I am just getting into diet and supps hardcore. Most of the pwo shakes contain about 5 gr of creatine.

My question is this: My creatine says 1 scoop=43g. Would I only serve 1/8 of a scoop in my shake?

When else should I take the stuff? Only that once? What is the accepted amount of grams per day?

    Thanks for the help!

thats quite a bit! most manufacturers provide a scoop that is equivalent of one serving. who is your creatine made by? perhaps you maybe reading the label incorrectly.

The jug says Precision Engineered...(U.S. Nutrition Oakdale, NY)

    net wt. 5 lbs..(80 oz) (2268 g)

    1 scoop (43g)

    It also says

    Cals-140
    Sodium-95mg
    Potassium-80mg
    Carbs-35g
    Sugars(Dextrose)-35g
    Phosphorus-200mg
    Magnesium-60mg

Is this more than just basic creatine?

yea, i would say it's more than basic creatine..

the creatine i took wich is just ordinary creatine is 5 grams per serving..

you have to do a loading stage where for 1 week you take the 1 (5g) serving 4 times a day, 4 hours apart... the next week you take the creatine 30 minutes before workout and 30 minutes after...
