    Pre Gym Energy Drink

    A buddy of mine is looking for something to give him a little more energy and a good pump. A powder that he can take a little before the gym.

    Not much of a supplement guy. So perhaps you guys can help me out on any suggestions.

    I had really good luck with Black Powder and NOExplode. Good energy, decent pumps. The only drawbacks were that they are expensive, the effects wear off after about 3 weeks so they need to be cycled, and they killed my appetite. Had to force feed post workout.

    small cup of black coffee with 1 splenda is what I use every now and then. Works like a charm..cannot get any easier and cheaper that this.

    I'm using Black Powder right now, it doesn't seem to be much different than the other no2/creatine products. I think I prefer NO Shotgun, though. The most effective one I've ever used was White Flood. White Flood stayed effective until the container was empty (nothing else has done that for me), but it would rip my stomach up.

    Everyone is different and different things work better for different people. He should try to get some samples from supplement stores where you live, if possible and try them out to see which one he likes.

    True.... Im not a big supplement guy. sink so much money. he was talking about no xplode. i never used it... soo.... im in the dark with his questions.....

    I have been using NO Explode since that stuff came out like 10 years ago or whatever-three scoops b4 every workout I have never cycled off and I always get good pumps/energy for my workouts. I have tried some others out there NO SHotgun and Superpump 250, all of them work for me but always end up going back to my bread and butter NO Explode. I still think it is the best.

    NO Xplode is a good place to start. I had a lot of good luck with it back in the day when I first started working out. But, my body became too accustomed to it and it stopped working. I think Vitamin Shoppe is having a sale on NO Xplode right now, he should look into that if he wants to try it.

    Usually just coffee. You can take an ECA stack about 30-45min beforehand and that works well too.

    If you can afford them ENDO RUSH'S are powerful. I stick to the coffie

    For pumps I like superpump 250 and no xplode. But there are a crap load that work well.

    ive tried a lot of no products and i recentrly started USP Labs Jack3d and its the best so far

    UPDATE:

    Black Powder makes me nearly shit my pants every time I take it. Make sure if using it to unload BEFORE going to the gym.
