Caffeine while cutting: low intake, nothing excessive

How do you guys feel about Caffeine when cutting? This past week my lifts have been pretty tough at the same weight since my carbs are at 100g/ed.

I feel fine heading to the gym and have plenty of energy to get up in the morning, but the last few sets RAPE me and I know soon my lifts will go down a little.

Is a small cup of coffee (black no creamers and shit) beneficial pre/wo? Im talking half cup if that. I don't EVER drink coffee but during a cut it makes sense when energy levels decline due to caloric intake.

Get some caffeine pills, 200mg 30 mins before workout will give you a far better 'kick' than drinking it.

Also look at splitting your carbs for best effect for workout and recovery!
