Taking amino acids separate from protein
Hi,
I've heard its important to take amino acids like creatine or ornithine alphaketo-glutarate separately from protein. Is this true?
Will the body not absorb the amino acids if you were to mix creatine or ornithine alpha keto glutamate in a protein shake or eaten with a protein based meal?
How important is it to take them with carbs?

Has anyone noticed any less of an effect by taking them separate versus taking them with other proteins?

nope... as long as u get your 5g of creatine i'd say your fine.. i notice it best if i do it immediately after my workout and about 20 mins be4 my protein shake, thats just me see what works best for you
