Glutamine
Just bought 500mg glutamine tabs and wanting to know quantity and best time to take as getting a lot of conflicting views.
I take craze pre workout, whey and creatine post

There's probably a science to this, but for me, I take 5 grams of creatine every morning, and right before I go to the gym, I take a scoop, which is about 2 or 3 grams of glutamine. In my shaker cup I take with me to the gym (along with a banana or two NOT in the shaker cup) at a minimum, another scoop of creatine, about 50mg of resveratrol (I just eyeball it nowadays) and not much protein powder anymore, as I eat so many slow burning eggs a couple of hours before hitting the gym.

Glutamine affects BCAA metabolism, gut barrier maintenance, normal immune function, glucose formation, water transport, neurotransmission, helps regulate protein synthesis and breakdown. One study found that when athletes suffered from mild dehydration, supplemental glutamine increased exercise performance and enhanced fluid and electrolyte uptake when combined with a glucose and electrolyte beverage. Supplementation has also been shown to raise levels of growth hormone .
