    Dropping the protein powder help

I'm starting a new supplement protocol and would like to drop the protein powders.

I currently get plenty of protein in whole foods. (185-230g)

My thing is I like taking the whey post workout because of the fast absorption. Getting those muscles fed in that 30min window.
What are some foods I can eat to do the equivalent? I know 1% Choc milk is a good one.

PS. This might have been better off in the nutrition forum. But I'm not retyping it. lol

Honestly, boost, I wouldn't worry about that "window". Just get your macros in before end of day. That's all you need. There really are no windows. That protein range is big, but if you're able to hit 230, that seems plenty (if your stats in profile are current), but I'll look forward to some replies as well for food options...

Stats where old. And was more like 15-18%bf

Just updated it. And am now 195lbs at 10-12%bf.
    Just cut down for summer.
Plans are to add lbm for the next few years until I'm ready to compete. No more bulking for me. 15%bf or less from now on.

Thanks for the info. Everything I've read always said the 30min window after training is crucial.

One thing I hate about the fitness world is trying to find good information. You have to read 100 pages of crap to get one page of good info!! lol That's why I love this site

185-230 is big. I would say 90% of the time I'm around 195-205g, but once a week I have a cheat meal that changes my macros significantly so...

I agree completely. Way too much information to absorb. Problem is marketing, really. They created this invisible "Window" and everything else that says we have to take so much protein, etc... Science says otherwise, however.
