Cut out pre-workouts...
Replaced them with straight old black cup of Joe and I feel so much better!! I hater the jitters that I got from a PWO drink, and I noticed that I was a major ass after drinking them... Or at least more so than usual
Anyone else go this route?

Yep, i was a pre-workout junkie lol always looking for the next best PWO, felt like shit after training almost all the time and i'd try so many PWO's that i'd buy one for 30 bucks, try it and it'd suck so it sits in the cupboard and i'd try another one.
I use pure caffeine now, just eat a little rock of it haha.

Mehh doesnt cut it for me , i need that buzz and focus , i drink coffee daily ( dark roast - black ) so having one before a workout wont do much .
But i agree with this guy ^^^^^^^^^^
As i also have got carried away with trying to find the best of the best PWO and similarly i buy a tub find it bunk and buy another

200-300mg caffeine
20mg synephrine
5g citruline malate or AKG or both
Super cheap, works wonders for me

caffeine alone wont do much for a lot of ppl especially if youre a habitual drinker, i need a cup every morning just to wake up and another in the afternoon. But if it works for u then ur really lucky, some ppl need something more to give us the extra kick for the gym on a crappy day.

I make my own,
caffeine, BCAA's 12.5mg ephedrine mixed with fruit punch crystal light tastes as good as any pre workout I've bought.

I totally agree. Go on Amazon and purchase some individual compounds. Start with caffeine and beta alanine. You can get a kilo for a very reasonable price, and this will last you for a LONG, LONG time. I throw it into a cup of coffee (maybe 300-400 mg TOTAL in the cup) and boom.
The only caution here, is like many other compounds we deal with, be super careful. The doses of the bulk powders can easily be underestimated and trust me, going over on either caffeine or BA and you won't have a good workout, haha.

Adding 100 mg of L-Theanine to a preworkout seems to help with jitters.

I also feel sooooo much better these days. Spent years strung out on pre workouts. Always felt like crap, now just coffee. I feel much better. Once your over the mental feeling of needing a pre, things are much better.

For me the best is coffee, Liquid Cialis and BCAA's. It's working our really well for me.
