1. there's a kid who's 6'2" and weighs 125(im not too big either but alot bigger than he is ALOT)always where's a skimpy ass tank top and walk with his arms far apart from his stick figure body like he's got big muscles. he also give grills to me and my friends cuz he thinks he's huge.
2. old grandmas that come basically naked showing their flabs all over the place. also the old ladies (like 70 yEARS OLD) that check you out while you're working out.
3. pple who leave sweat stains on the seats, and i have to wipe their bodily fluid cuz they are too lazy to wipe their own liquid.
i thnk daz it but im sure there is more

hey just thought of another one , i dont have the luxury of a 24hr gym it closes at 8pm. Now what i hate is when they start pulling down the roller doors and turning off the fans and shit at like 7:30pm then they have the nerve to look at you as if to say"hey i got a hot date so piss off" or something to that effect. So what ive started doing is at 2 min to 8 i hit the showers and ya can bet ya ass im gonna take my fuckin time because i pay 600 a year to go to the gym and no little acne assed punk is getting me out the door before im damn well ready. Well thats it for now but ill be back.

People doing calfs on the leg press and triceps on the lat machine.
And finally.
People who think their bigger than me.

1. People that grunt, groan, and scream through their sets, like they are makin' a porno, when they are only doing dumbell presses of 40lbs.....
2. The hard-ass wannabe teens that stare at you while you lift, when they couldn't even carry your jock strap.
3. Anyone that would consider spandex as acceptable attire
4. Older gentlemen that insist giving you advice, stand there, yap on and on about how often they workout, comment on the weight you lift when they couldn't even do half, and ultimately end up fuckin up your sets....
5. Anyone who tries to lift too much weight and is afraid to ask for help.....
6. People that look at you in disgust when you drop your dumbells on the floor after a set (i'm talkin heavy weight 90s and up) because, god forbid, you made noise when you put the weights down.

Damn guys! Every possible thing I was gonna say has already been said - glad I'm not the only one LOL!
I guess the only thing I would add is the fucking trainers who look worse than their clients...talk about practice what you preach! My gym has several and they think they know everything about BB cause they took a diet class or something

I cant stand poeple who get on the gear without knowing what to do with it. Highschool students that inject eachother and take just a few shots or something like winny and expect to "GET HUGE" Alos cant stand people who do like 12 sets of flat bench everyday and people who camplain about haw bar gear is for you.

I live in Asia and I do not have the problems of old men or women hogging up the equipment because they seldom use the gym..
As for ladies, they bring life to the male-domineering gym...
1. I hate guys who sit on a chair not working out but chit-chatting about where they will be going to after this....I had such an experience and it does not mean you are bigger than me you could do that.. I am sure I could carry as much as you...
2.I hate it when that person just give me the look like "Can't you use the other equipment and why do we have to share this?" Hey I paid the same amount of money to get into the gym...why should I listen your crap ... The guy had the nerve to tell me "Hey! You use the other equipment..." I gave him the "Fuck off" look...
3. Lastly, I do admit I take a longer break than others between sets but I do not mind sharing my equipment with the person if he is not changing much of the equipment. I could shorten my break too as it is useful for me.

At my gym theres no area to do walking lungs so you have to pick a quite spot of floor and do it that way anyway im standing at the end of the flat bench doing hammer curls facing the mirrors when this couple start doing lunges WITH A 5FT BENCHING BAR behind their shoulders. So whats happening is every time they walk passed me i had step forward a few feet or get smacked in the back of the head with the bar, all the mean while the husband who is giving his wife directions(who i must say is the skinniest little prick on the membership list) like hes fuckin tony little or something is yelling out "technique its technique". So after 4-5 times of ducking out the way i droped the DB on the floor turned around and gave him and his missus the "you pair of fuckin idiots"look complete with hands on hips just for good measure lol they seem to leave straight after that i guess they had finished..........HITMAN

my favorite is when the gym is really busy and u waitin for a bench for like 10 mins then u get there and there is a lake of nasty sweat from the persons greasy head, that always makes my day

Yea I can't stand all the fat guys that I see lifting weights. As if they're going to get big with their little testosterone level kicking. I don't want to see their dumbasses anywhere but on a treadmill.

1) THOSE PPL WHO WORK OUT HARD FOR 2 MINTUES DOING THAT ONE SET AND THEN SPEND THE NEXT 20MINTUES FLEXXING IN THE MIRROR.
2) PPL JUST RESTING ON THE EQUIPMENT HAVING A SEAT
3) PPL THAT JUST COME TO THE GYM TO TALK

I have to agree withe everything above but I must include;
1, that guy who tried to get me to join his church the day before super bowl sunday by inviting me to his church party. No offense but the gym is not a preaching ground. ( no I didn't join!)
2, the guy who keeps looking at chicks and then making those faces while telling me "Look at that ass! I'd like to tear that shit up!" Whatever dude, you're like 50 something go get a hooker.
3, prices at the pro shop.
4, the guy who goes naked into the hot tub but you don't find out about it till he leaves.

Not Racking the weights. Making it longer to loook for the right weight to use. I hate that.

I agree with almost all of the "pet peeves" that everybody has listed. I must say though, that in particular, i hate it when people dont ask if your done using a machine or a particular bench and just jump right in and hog it for the rest of the time that your there for. Lately it seems that whenever i'm doing incline or flat bench dumbells for chest, when I take a drink inbetween sets, i come back and some inconsiderate jackass or dumb broad has took the bench.....thats not so bad, its the fact that they dont offer for me to work in sets with them, like the bench and all the equipment in the gym has their freakin name on it!!!..IMO, if more people used their heads and manners the gym would be a better place

Ok.. I have worked in gyms and will again very soon.
PEOPLE THAT DONT UNSTACK THERE FUCKING WEIGHTS... then some bitch comes to me and says "Can you come and unload the weights for me", I look over and there is 2x45 pound plates on a olympic bar... it is like ?? HOw weak are you??
People that joke around when you are lifting a serious weight.
PPL that lift like 2 plates/side on the 45 Leg Press when I want to press some serious weight.
Fat fucks that think they have size (but they are like 20& BF). And that think they are bigger than me... but get rid of all there fat and they are little skinny barstards.
PPL that have been coming to the gym don't gain size and ask me about it. I mention diet and they are like "I eat enough". They have no clue of the ratio of what they are eating and time to eat. Hence they get not results.
DITO as above but for fat people and there diet(or lack there of).
People asking me for advice or spots when I am there training in my own time.

Lol, so many things, so little time and space.
1. Arrogant trainers (that have no reason to be) that see a young kid working in with them with the machine adjusted wrong which is gonna hurt them and doesnt say a word (I saw one trainer at my gym do this, I walked over and told the kid what to do). I know he wasnt getting paid but c'mon, it just takes 10 seconds and he was just standing around.
2. Guy at my gym I call "the whistler". Lil guy (very little muscle, no more than he naturally has) comes in whistling some song that is not even close to what is on the gyms system and does it loud enough so everyone can hear and is annoyed by it. He's also a lightweight grunter and pep talker to himself ("be good to yourself! be good to yourself!", etc). He seems to walk around acting like he owns the place more than actually lifts, havent seen him change any. This morning while doing cardio I saw him walking around eating McDonalds! He also told the head trainer (one of the few there that actually look like he should be a trainer, this guy is big and knows his stuff) that he noticed his form was wrong on his incline and would watch him to help him out (I about fell off the bench laughing!). Yeah, that guy pisses me off.
3. The chick who asked me some questions about some excercises and asked for my help (I have no problem doing this, I enjoy it) but she is now a trainer there.
4. High schoolers that decide since they arent 21 the best place to hang out and bs is the gym and sit there flexing in the mirrors looking at their nonexistent muscles on their bony frames. The all wear wife beaters, gold jewelry, and heavy cologne.
5. Women (and guys) who wear clothes they shouldnt! Just because you can technically put it on doesnt mean you should wear it (I really hate it when you start cardio and one of them decide to use the machine in front of you).
6. Guys who sag their workout pants. Nobody wants to see what you are wearing under your workout pants.
7. The guy wearing the '80s type workout clothes who decides the gym is the best place to yell at his kid.
As much as it annoys me I dont let it get to me and I am at the gym 2-3 times a day .

Backstreet Boy clones in their 300 dollar workout clothes, and silver/gold necklaces loading up the bar for 1 rep and 3 spotters (1 above, 2 on each side), screaming "C'mon get it up man!" when the spotters are doing all the work...
absolutely gut wrenching!!!

I don't know if this has been sad yet but, I can't stand dumbasses that try to brag about how much they can bench/squat, etc...when they don't have proper from or anything near proper form.
I'm a little guy and I have all of the people I know there saying, "Hey I can bench 2 plates too now." Then when you see them do it, the bar is comming about an inch down and back up.
FUCKIN ANNOYING!
I'M NOT IMPRESSED BY HOW MUCH PEOPLE CAN LIFT WHEN THEY LOOK LIKE SHIT!!!
*Above statment does not apply to powerlifters.

RE: Trenton's #13. Fat girls wearing little shorts that go half way up their ass and half shirts or sports bra's.
Actually I kinda like that!
Everything else from everybody is spot-on. My worst peeves are:
1 music in the gym. I can't concentrate with all that loud raccous cacaphony cranked up to 90dB
2 People smoking right by the door.
3 People working out with crap in their pockets, or wearing clothes with zippers and shit that tears upholstery
4 People not wiping up their sweat, spit, snot, or other bodily fluids.
5 Not keeping pairs of dumbbells together
6 Not re-racking equipment
7 6-7 of the "bench press kids" hogging the only decent rack in the gym.
8 The "bench press kids" who do BP and curls every day and never do anything else, and tell you, when you ask why they don't work lower body, that they want a nice "taper" LOL!
9 The "bench press kids" who train because it improves their performance on the football field but never squat or do calf raises
10 The idiot who repeatedly tells newbies that lat pulldowns are a teriffic chest exercise and dispenses advice that will probably cause chronic injury.
11 GF calling the gym to see if I am almost done yet.
12 People leaving their red bull cans and sports drink bottles all over the place
13 People lifting in slippers
14 A big 250 lb guy doing less than bodyweight on the calf raise machine and acting like it was a lot of iron.
15 Guys who insist on lifting your weight for you when all you want a spotter for is to help re-rack after hitting failure on the bench.
16 The same guy yelling "ONE MORE!" when you already hit failure, like he knows what is best for you.
There are more, but what the hell... I haven't been in a gym in a couple of years now. I train at home and at work. I don't have to put up with any bozos that way.

what really pisses me off is when 15 guys gather around the same damn bench only to do one set and see who can get it the most times. and another thing, a lot of people at my gym listen to music on head phones while they lift, and it is those people whose cell phones always go off and they can't hear them and they always have a very annoying ringer.

While we are on the topic of stuff thats pisses us off, I cant hanle it when Im in the middle of a set and all the young "cardio chicks" keep flirting with me..."Can i touch your arm" or "Your chest is huge"....I mean come on this is a gym Im not here to make friends with all you 5% bf girls with great asses in spandex. And another thing, how many times do you have to tell a girl that you dont want to take turns washing each other off in the shower after a long workout? Come on ladies, just leave all of us alone....
Im so sad...
