Standing EZ bar curls build peak?
When doing standing curls with an ez bar, does that help build the peak of your biceps?
I know when you do it with a wide grip, it helps the inner bi, and a close grip helps the outter bi.

I dont think peak is something you can target, the way the shape of your muscles are, is genetic.
Only thing you can do is get them bigger.

How are standing EZ bar curls as a bicep workout?

Good. For body building you'll want more than one work out though. I do standing ezbar curls 2 sets of 8-12 narrow, 2 of the same for wide. Then I do alternating dumbbell twist curls. Arnold says that when you supinate (twist) on the way up it builds the peak. And we all know Arnold is numero uno. ;-)

For peaking you would use db isolation/concentration curls. Genetics does play a role, preacher (cambered) bar adds mass with less strain on the wrist. But if you use a straight bar on the preacher bench the inner head of the bi can get a peak. The reason is you hand placement is supinated. Most use the preacher bar which hits the outer heads more.

A preacher bar is the same thing as an EZ bar, right?
I can't use the straight bar due to pain in wrists from using it.
Check out my bi routine:

Yes bro EZ is the same as preacher. If wrist hurt lower the weight or just use the EZ
